ForgeFix Plasterboard Spring Toggles | M5 x 50mm | Zinc Plated | Bag 10

I needed to hang curtains in a bay window with a false ceiling without drilling into the window frames. These spring toggles were perfect; they allowed me to drill small holes in the plaster board false ceiling in order to fix the curtain track brackets. Being plaster board it will probably not support really heavy drapes but it's fine for my purposes. I only need relatively light curtains for privacy and to dull the glare of the early morning sun. I found it to be a straightforward job once I had identified where the stud work supporting the ceiling was. They fitted and sprang open as described. However care needs to be exercised, I found.

Great for heavy duty items. Just be careful and make sure what you are installing them too isn’t too thick so that the toggle passes through the hole and opens whilst remaining on the screw thread.

Used to realitively heavy TV on 18mm skimmed plasterboard, no issues, used 8. Bag was supposed to have 10 but only had 8 and had been opened but could not return because the job needed doing at the time so last out on 2 spares.

Very easy to use, needed to steady a wardrobe to plasterboard wall where there eas a gap due to skirting board....worked a treat.

I got these to support my toilet system aaa the original ones were worn, I must say they are fantastic holding it in place against the partition wall will definitely be buying again if I have any heavy wall units I need to support as all my walls are hollow between each other in the house.

these worked well, i used them to fix a shower door to a cavity wall. i drilled the hole in the wall, passed the fixing though the show door (without the spring loaded part) then attached the spring loaded part on the back and then pushed the fixing into the wall before tightening it all up....bit fiddly but for my use it worked well.

Good quality and worked a treat (holding heavy wooden radiator cover on wall).

Ideal for doing the job for not to heavy items.

La solución para fijar con mucha eficacia y resistencia en paredes de pladur o similares. A mí me han salvado la papeleta, he podido volver a montar los anclajes de una puerta corredera, en una pared bastante blanda, que en realidad era casi como una placa de pladur. Si tienes claro las medidas de grosor del muro, y las dimensiones del taco, no tendrás problemas para conseguir un resultado de 10.
