I don't know if it even has one. But , what I can tell you is the plastic cover over the temperature gauge fell off. 2 days after purchasing the item. When I asked them (Oypla) to simply replace the cover so that I could stick it back on; they told me to dismantle the heater and send it back. I had just paid an electrician to install it on my wall. Make of this 'customer service' what you will.....!!???

Can the heater and all of its functions be manually controlled, should the batteries in the remote fail?

Hi, Yes it can be manually operated without remote as Well. Don't waste your Money on this item. It sucks electric and is very poorly constructed. Mine was already broken on arrival. Go with something that's an energy saving heater

Can this be used in the bathroom?

I don't know about bathrooms, we use it in our school swimming pool.

does this have a thermostat that can be set? so when a temperature is achieved it goes off, then comes on when the temeperature drops?

Hi yes u can set the temperature and leave it on timer and it reaches the temperature u set and goes on until the timer has ran out. If the temperature drops the heater will up its self to go to set temperature. Mine takes about 5-6 mins to reach temperature I require and stays there. Shows up on the digital display. Shows temperature cloning or dropping. Hp this helps. P.s sucks electric!

Don’t waste your money

Absolutely poor performance and quality. The unit only gives warm or hot air and not cool air as advertised. The unit I received is faulty and fails to turn off from remote. The only way to switch it off is to unplug from mains. Raised return request, as soon as I receive and tested it. The temp setting are false as it stays at one setting no matter what you set it at

Useless item.

Fan has only one speed.extremely weak. When fitted at the recommended height the fan strength is useless. Very disappointed it is not returnable as you can't possibly know if it is suitable until it is in situ.would only work effectively in a doll's house
