Wilton Pillar Style 3-Tier Cupcake, Dessert, and Cake Stand

I do custom cakes, cupcakes and desserts. So when I shop for towers I look for 4 things : size, quality, sturdiness, and assembly. Size : The sizes were perfect. The biggest (plate)/shortest (tier) can hold a 14 or 12 inch round cake. The middle sized (plate) & middle sized (tier) could hold a 10 inch cake. And the tallest (tier)/ which has the smallest (plate) holds a 8 inch cake. So, your smallest cake goes up top, middle sized cake in the middle and biggest cake at the bottom. Get it? Quality: This looks really nice. I don't have to try and cover it up, like some cake towers that are cheap and made of cardboard, or styrofoam, this tower makes everything look like a neat professional set up ! Sturdiness: Your cake set up will NOT lean, wobble or break. Worry free ! This tower gives me a peace of mind. It is nice and sturdy. One advantage is the fact that each cake plate on the tiers, spins. Yes! They spin around conveniently if you gently turn it while cutting the cake or decorating, that way, you won't bump the other cakes and have to move around the table to cut cake at a certain angle. Assembly: I promise you set up will not take any more than 10 minutes. It only took me five. All I did was look at the box and put it together, you don't need instructions! No tools needed, nails, glue, none of that mess! Everything clips/clamps and snaps together easily. Easy the take down just as fast as you set it up !!!! So freaking glad I ordered this stand !!!!

If you're looking for a low cost way to achieve an elegant tiered cake look then this is perfect. I wanted a simple 3 tier carrot cake for my very small wedding from a well known bakery in the area. They wanted to charge $10 per slice, which is outrageous for a "naked" cake that we would decorate ourselves- see flowers. So I bought the individual cakes, 12" , 8" and 6" and used this stand instead vs having the bakery stack in your typical tiered wedding cake, which saved me $200 bucks! It worked perfect. The construction of the stand is plastic, lightweight and sturdy.

I bought this stand hoping it would be a backup for a really nice wooden stand I have. It really does the trick! I can fit about 120 standard sized cupcakes on this stand. I haven't used it for cakes yet, but it does come with a cake corer so you can put the hole in the center of the cake. It goes together easily and is lightweight but sturdy. The bottom two plates are confusing to put together the first time you try it but that's because they include extra support for large, heavy cakes. It's easy to put together and take apart, and it's easy to get it back into the box it came in! The system is versatile because you don't have to use all six tiers for your display. I've used it for cupcakes and I like it so much I'm purchasing two more!

I love this dessert stand. You can use it for so many things. It as 3 tiers. You can place a cake on all 3 tiers or use one for cake and other desserts. I have also used one tier and placed a flower arrangement and used the other 2 tiers for desserts. Very happy with this purchase. Super easy to take apart and store until the next use.

The shipping took a couple of days longer than anticipated, so that was a bit stressful, but the stand did arrive in time for the wedding, so all was well. After I finally referred to the instructions (ahem), the stand went together easily, and provided a very stable display for the wedding cupcakes. I was initially worried that it would not hold 100, but easily did. It was just the right product for our event.
