Dylon Washing Machine Fabric Dye Pod, Tulip Red, 350g

I don’t have a washer, but was able to do this in a tub of water I got to 40 degrees Celsius (per instructions). This top took the color well, despite it being mostly viscose which the instructions say may not take up as much color. These photos are from the item wet, so I imagine it will lighten up as it dries to be more similar in shade to the pod’s image. Do notice that the white thread didn’t pick up any color. It’s probably a synthetic thread. I could see this being weird if you purchase a dark dye and don’t want a thread standing in stark contrast to the new color. I would buy again.

Ruined my jacket! Yes, I followed the instructions and the results were terrible! It did not dye my jacket evenly, as if the powder failed to dissolve in the water. I’m left with an unwearable, speckled mess. Also the jacket was an off-white and I figured it would pick up the color nicely, but the final result was more of a light pink than a plum color (and the jacket was a natural fiber: cotton). This stuff was not cheap and I don’t even have something nice to show for it. Do yourself a favor and just get RIT dye.

This was so simple and worked great! The color is a little lighter than expected but I did have about double the recommended fabric weight, so that can't be blamed entirely on the product. I dyed a thick XL oatmeal colored sweatshirt, an oversized flowy white shirt, a short wrap dress and 2 towels I didn't know we're in the washer. The color took amazing on all products that were cotton or a cotton/polyester mix. The dress, which is vicose, barely changed color; however I knew that wasn't a recommended fabric for this product but figured I'd try anyway. I'd definitely recommend this product!

Not nearly as effective as plain ole Rit. I used 1pod on my sheer curtains to enhance their faded color but No change at all. Did them again w 3pods- deposited some color but not dramatically…

Easy to use and works perfectly. Place on top of wet garment in machine and wash on low temperature. Amazing results.

This item does not work. I ended up with blue and pink spots all over my beige jacket that I was trying to darken. Dark streaks are now on the arms as well. The jacket is completely ruined. I followed directions. I do not recommend.

The item I dyed was a huge linen duvet cover and two shams. Everything fit well into the washer. I was very happy with how everything looked until I got to the shams. One got completely ruined! It has large, overly dyed/stained spots on it that I tried to wash and rinse out without success. It's ruined and now I have to try to find some that match the duvet. I will say... Everything came out great! It was just the color I was hoping to get. I only used one pod with a cal king linen duvet cover and shams in my regular washing machine. So convenient.

Did not work well at all. Dyed my washer not the clothes. Extremely disappointed in the dye.

Very easy to use, with no mess. Colour was rich and has lasted.
