Review: Inexpensive and flashy way to store magazines - I bought a set of the Black & White holders for my National Lampoon magazine collection. These are easy to assemble and work great for this purpose. I was debating which color I wanted of the few choices available and decided on the B&W set because of its striking difference in our Music room. Plus, I can always paint them in later if I choose. I only need 4 of them for now as my collection is approx 70 of these fantastic magazines and have them sitting atop one of my record collection holders that I built years ago. Def recommend these as a cheap alternative for magazine storage. They seem durable and will hopefully last for many years. For this price I can easily replace them if they begin to fall apart. Time will tell....

My children liked them too and so took half... without asking, but that's another story! The file holders are sturdy, but they are made out of cardboard, so it's not going to be as sturdy as plastic. I have files and books and letters in mine. My kids have books, folders, magazines and such in theirs-- all work well with no problems. I would recommend this product. Thank you!

**Q: Do these come apart?**
A: Yes.  They are just like folded boxes - you can fold and unfold as you want.  However, they are much sturdier with tape along the seams.  Also, the pre-glued seams fall apart very easily as well.

**Q: Would these hold 12×12 scrapbook paper?**
A: I don't believe they would be deep enough.  Pretty much limited to 9 x 12 items (like a folder).

**Q: What are these made of?**
A: Heavy cardboard. I’ve used the same set in my classroom for two years now. They hold my students’ work folders - survived being refolded and stored for summer, then unfolded and set up to use again this year and are still going strong.

They are nice and colorful, BUT a regular ringed binder does not quite fit. Papers, yes, but a binder only fits diagonally.
