78001 Coolant Hose Assembly Pliers, for 1/4" Coolant Hose System

Delivery was scheduled for 3-4 days. The item came in one day. Very happy. It worked perfectly with the other Loc-Line items I bought.

If you want to use Loc Line, then you need these Pliers. They make it simple to assemble and break down the line.

Works as advertised. Easy to use and durable.

Having to find out these pliers only work with genuine Loc-Line hoses and parts. It will not work on Chinese made Loc-Line imitation which is not genuine. Sure you can take them apart. Have fun trying to snap those together. Working on genuine Loc-Line hose and parts with these pliers makes it really easy to use.

If you are actually putting together a loc-line setup and need to create custom lengths, then you need this tool. Before I got it I was having limited success clamping and prying and pulling and pushing the links together but it was a task that took far too long and wasn't really met with success. I received this tool and as soon as I opened the packaging had my entire system together in under 5 minutes. It almost felt like I didn't need the tool at all since it was in my hands only briefly. It works incredibly well and only received four stars from me due to its entire construction being made from plastic. I know metal would have marred the loc-line links but metal handles and plastic jaws would have been nice. I have the fear in the back of my brain that when I do need this tool again, in the distant future, that I will get a few links connected and then it will snap from years of disuse. Great tool and made of good plastic but plastic is crap as far as I'm concerned.

I bought these in hopes it would work with Morezmore modular armature. I could get them apart but could never get them together. No matter how aggressive I was. The Morezmore jeton pliars that they sell for this armature are twice the price with the same function so I took a chance and snatched up the 1/4" ones. They work perfectly. They won't separate them but I wasn't having issues with that part. I still wish they could disassemble them for more precision but I'm sure I can find another way anyway.

I got these to use on heavy duty joints, not for the coolant hose system. I think they would work for what they are designed for but the pieces I had required a heavy duty solution. This just couldn't keep up but that's fine

Für meine Zwecke war die Zange zu groß. Der Kundenservice war reibungslos.

Works great. So much easier to snaps the parts together with this tool. Make life simple buy it.

Does the job very well.
