This product was even better than I'd hoped for. I used the silver and white for a cosplay costume, and it was AMAZING. The best comparison I can make is that it has the consistency of icing that you would use on a birthday cake, which makes it easy to work with. Because it is so spreadable, you can really work it into your hair. My hair is dark, almost black, and I have neon green tips. The second pic shows my natural color, so you can see the difference. The character I was playing has salt and pepper hair. The first pic shows the results on my dark hair, and the character I was cosplaying so you can see (Yeah, it's way long. I started growing it out after covid in Feb 2020, and now I have long rockstar hair) I did not want to use the color hair spray that you get at Wal-Mart or Spirit Halloween because it makes your hair crunchy. This product was not like that at all. I used just enough to tone my hair so that it had the look I wanted. It even masked my neon green tips. Once it was on, my hair was soft, but it also kept its shape (I wanted it to be kind of wavy). It smells great too! It washes out like any other hair product. No trouble. Just some shampoo, and it was gone. No residue on my hands from applying it, none in the sink when I washed my hands after putting it in, and none in the shower after I washed my hair. It stayed on for the whole day and the entire next day too. I didn't notice that it rubbed off on anything. When I slept with it overnight, it did not get on my pillowcase at all, which kind of surprised me. It did not come off on my skin when I sweated either, and I totally sweated because my costume was all a real leather biker jacket in 100 degrees summer heat. My advice -- Apply on wet hair. I wore this in my hair three days. The first day, I applied it with wet hair out of the shower, and the second day, I used it with dry hair. The application was easier and results better when I applied it on wet hair. I don't think your hair is going to be as brightly colored as the pictures show, but you will definitely have color. I don't know about the other colors, but I was super pleased with the white and silver. I will use this in the future for other cosplay and even for some cool looks. I will probably try the other colors too. For the cost, it is a great product.

I really enjoy using these color hair waxes — especially the white and silver. They’re great not only for costumes or events, but also just for everyday fun. I joke that they’re like a mood ring for your hair, because I’ll match the color to my shirt or to how I’m feeling that day. This wax gives strong, visible color even on darker hair, and it also works as a styling product since it has the texture of a regular hair wax. It holds your hair in place nicely. A couple things to know: It does make your hair feel a little dry, but that’s normal for wax-based products. The color is NOT permanent at all — people often assume it’s a dye, but it washes out immediately. Just running water through your hair basically removes most of it, and a quick shampoo gets rid of the rest. Overall, it’s a fun, easy, and super versatile way to change up your look without committing to anything permanent. Highly recommend if you want something playful, creative, and low-effort.

I figured this would be easier on my light hair, but maybe it works better on dark hair, because I've run three layers of this goop into my hair and I don't see any white. Half the container is gone, it smells weird, and my hair is crunchy, but not white.

I ordered this due to the need to be portrayed as Santa for a community event, and knowing the fake beards which accompany the outfits are atrocious. Luckily, my facial hair is much lighter than the hair on my head, and this added a pleasantly appearing grey/white to my beard, allowing me to provide a more realistic appearance. I followed some other reviews’ advice, and applied with a comb, spreading it throughout my beard and styling it at the same time. An attempt on my brown head hair failed to match my beard, and I felt it would be far too stiff if I attempted more. This does stiffen like most pomade I have used, and does slightly flake, but again, fit the need it was intended for.

Super crunchy texture. Doesn't show up great in dark hair. We just needed a little bit on the tips of a long pony tail and it was okay. Might be good used as frosted tips or something, but not for looser hair.

I bought this specifically for Halloween because I wanted white locs, and it absolutely came through! I wore it while working on our food trailer and felt like I had my dream hair for the day. 😂 I had been searching for something that would actually work on dreadlocks, and this showed up beautifully on mine. The white was noticeable and gave me exactly the look I wanted. I was so happy with the results! If you’re wondering whether it works on locs, YES!

I use this when the bleaching and toning process doesn’t get all the yellow out of my short cut hair. Brightens it immediately and also allows me to go longer between treatments as it’s great for root touch ups. Also stays put and doesn’t flake or get on my clothes or pillows. Washes out easily.

I’m giving it 2 stars instead of one because it was easy to wash out. It lightened my hair a little’ bit. It was very clumpy. I tried rubbing it in evenly but it was like trying to spread clay nicely throughout your hair. Once it’s in your hair it’s really hard to brush your hair (it felt like i had drowned my hair in hairspray after I’d applied it). My hair looked really clumpy and greasy once the product was in. I felt like i did something wrong, but the directions on the container were very simple. I felt like my hair was super damaged after using this product. I don’t recommend. If you want your hair white i suggest getting your hair dyed instead.
