does what it says it does, and does it very well. could maybe have been a bit longer, but then it would be less portable. a longer arm would mean not hitting the tripod arm adjuster with your chin, but resolved that by turning it backwards on the mount. For portability, this cannot be beaten and this is a compromise I'm prepared to live with. Made well, locks on the tripod rock steady, and screws into my 10x42 Celestron Nature DX bino's. I may ditch my telescope and upgrade the bins to some 'proper' stargazing ones as a result of purchasing this. Some reviews go on and about "it could do with this", "it doesn't do that", "it isn't very good looking", but to be honest, it is hard to fault this. definitely 5 stars for the bino's I'm currently using, go on you know you want one, just pop it in your next order, you won't regret it, promise ! Stargazing with a binocular. This bracket allows me to mount the binoculars on my camera tripod. Easy to use and so far no issues with quality. Keeps the binoculars steady. Happy.

Just the job to mount onto an existing tripod, perfect for stabilising the binos. One thing I would note is that the metal bracket does then limit how much inwards you can adjust the lenses - so bear that in mind. Anyway it was a secure fit to the binos and I appreciate the large twist know so It's easy to turn/unturn as that can be quite fiddly with the position etc. Sadly I didn't need the binos any more so have now returned it, but it's a good device.

Useful bit of kit and easy to fit

Not very strong bend easily

Bought this to secure a pair of Hawke Frontier ED binos to a Vanguard Mars 1 table-top tripod, used in conjunction with the quick release shoe provided with the tripod. No problems at all - it's a strong bracket with two accurately drilled and threaded location holes and a good width rubber washer on the knurled screw, which is just the right length to secure the binos flush to the bracket. My only gripe is that the knurled screw head is bare polished alloy, which made it just a bit too garish for my purposes, but that was remedied by applying some black enamel paint (after a suitable undercoat) to match the finish of the bracket.

Works well. When fitted the binoculars can still be adjusted, which is probably done by design. To fit more tight I used a metal washer and wide jaw pliers.
