Mantova Italian Mix Pesto, 6.5 Ounce

This is a sampler of four different types of pesto: Artichoke Olive traditional basil and tomato. Artichoke pesto is very mild and not to my liking, but you might like it a lot. By contrast, the olive pesto is completely out of this world. It is a mix of Greek klamata, black and Spanish olives, going by taste. I would kill to get this. I haven't tried the other two yet, but I'm giving it all five stars because the olive is sooo good. BTW pesto is a great way to make canned fish palatable. It's also great in lieu of salad dressing and on pasta, crackers, bread, etc. I reviewed 2 other great pestos here, Barilla & Classico. All of them are very concentrated so very little goes a very long way. Meaning that about 1 tablespoon is enough to flavor an entire salad that would serve 4 people. Or one person, if you eat it over several days, like me.

Great on paninis pasta or just on bread. Amazing

I've only tried two Black Olive and Basil. I enjoyed them both, as a spread on toasted crackers and mixed with butter over pasta. The quality is top-notch, the flavors are intense as they should be. I will definitely reorder.

I have repeated this order primarily because of the care that is taken securely wrapping each jar for transport. Each jar wrapped in bubble wrap, then encased in raffia (sp), and finally sealed in its separate box. Even though it is overkill, I appreciate the care. Finally, regarding the product. I do not like Sun dried tomatoes. Just too chewy for my liking. Of the four jars I thought I might end up giving that one away. But I tried it, the tomatoes were already chopped. I liked them, sauce as well. The tomatoes were not chewy at all. I will probably end up repeating this order again.

I love spices. I gave these away as gifts to the family. It's a nice sampler to get others into spices.

Pesto arrived open. So thanks for that. Aside from that these were just boring and lacking in flavor. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

I love love love pesto.. And so I bought this set in hopes I'd have a few different flavor options to spread on my french 🍞.. Please note they are good on any type of bread and any type of pasta hot or cold.. The olive is very unique and the artichoke is buttery... Yum! I recommend this set if you love these flavors or just want to try them for the first time..
