On the 2000 ohm model the scale is one to ten. Is 10, 2000 ohms? and the 0 is 0 ohms? How does the scale relate to the resistance?

There are three terminals on the device and it depends which two terminals you use (The center terminal and another), the resistance could be increasing from 0 to 2000 OR decreasing from 2000 to 0 while turning the knob from 0 to 10.
