Will not work with carburetor fuel return line attachment at carburetor as shown in ad photos
The photos in this add are misleading as the photos show this carburetor is set up for the carburetor fuel return system with banjo style connection and bolt. The ad photo clearly shows the fuel return metering bolt in place. This carburetor only has a blind passage that is not threaded and will not accept the fuel return metering bolt.

Triple Check your old carburetor to make sure this one will fit.
This carburetor did not replace my 1973 Toyota FJ40 2F engine carburetor. The choke cable is not a barrel style end cable (the carburetor is manufactured for barrel style) the throttle cable doesn’t have a guide to attach it to and the end of the throttle cable IS a barrel style but the carburetor doesn’t accept it. I switched out most of the old carburetor parts to try to make it work all to find there is a long throttle rod attachment coming out of the front which will not allow the carburetor to mount conflicting with a vacuum fitting on the carburetor base attached to the manifold. Big disappointment. I put the old one back on but now my Land Cruiser runs even worse than before I attempted to change out the carburetor.
