What a piece of junk. Do no waste your money.
This bike is made like complete garbage. The worst part is the bearings that are in the head and crank are of such poor quality it feels like they are made of sandpaper. It is difficult to turn the handlebars and peddling is so difficult riding this bike would have been a chore at best, but my child would have most likely given up. The pedals are made out of cheap brittle plastic, the brake levers are also cheap brittle plastic. The seat covering material is made out of ultra think plastic (think beach ball or cheap pool toy material). The wheels were not even close to being true, so bad in fact that the hand brakes had to be adjusted out so much they no longer were functional. The chain guard is made of clear plastic and came warped enough where it was rubbing against the chain in two areas. On a positive note it was very easy to put together and only required an adjustable wrench, which also made it quick to take back apart and put back in the box for Amazon to pick up.

Questionable Quality
My son likes the bike for its Star Wars theme but I have some real concerns about the quality of the bike frame. The welds on the frame were the first stand out thing I could focus on right out of the box. "Shockingly bad" was uttered ad nauseum the more we looked. It seems like every joint on this bike belongs in a textbook for beginner welders under "What NOT to do".Assembly wasn't too difficult if you had the right tools.

Great except for breaks
This is a pretty awesome little bike. It rides smooth and is easy for my 4yo to learn on. The training wheels have adjustable heights to gradually get away from using them. My husband had very little difficulty putting it together. The only reason this bike doesn't get 5 stars is the break system. It doesn't have the traditional pedal/push backwards to stop. It's got some stop pedaling to start coasting to a stop system. This is awful for a child learning to ride or one who lives in a very hilly area. I did not realize this and once I am ready to let my little man ride in our own neighborhood with me we will have to invest in a different bike with an actual break system. This is a very disappointing feature in an otherwise great bike.

Misleading description
It's a cute bike but the description is wrong. The actual size of the bike is for a child 37"-46" tall (ages 3-6) per the box. When I received the bike, the box was completely destroyed. It was soaking wet and wrapped in plastic. The bike was scratched and the left peg will not screw into it's place. There is pieces missing.

Great bike
This bicycle arrived yesterday, requiring assembly. This was a bit easier than I expected, requiring only an adjustable wrench. The only moment of difficulty: the axle nuts are packaged inside plastic holders and it took me awhile to figure that out. The instructions and ilustrations do not show that. Once they were located, assembly took about 30 minutes, including unpacking. The bike itself is solid, and is just right for a young Star Wars fan , lights and all.

The sticker on one side of the bike was slightly damaged. Bit for a kid who will outgrow it in a year, it'll be fine. The handlebars light up by the press of a button, a neat feature for a 6 year old. I wish these biked came with kick-stands. Also, the handle bat is too wide to accommodate a bell. Perhaps a larger one would fit, but the one we had from the previous bike does not fit.

I bought this as a gift for my five year olds birthday, he loves it! Being his first bike it is taking him time to learn, but the bike has held up to multiple falls on a dirt road full of pot holes. The lights work great, as he tries to convince me that it's is for night time riding so he should be aloud to stay out after dark.

Good buy, easy assembly
This bike was exactly as expected and easy to put together even for me a mechanically challenged mom. Took about 30 minutes total, my husband had to tighten training wheels up. The light saber handlebars light up which would be cool at night but my 5 & 6 yr old are long asleep or in for the night before dark so it's somewhat pointless feature in bright daylight. Good purchase for the price.
