I just didn't trust the gauge on it. I used a kitchen meat thermometer to stabilize the cooler at 55°F. Used a scotch tape to attach strips to the bottom, middle,and top of a glass door.As you can see, the readings are pretty accurate. I'd say to 1°F. However, the lower the reading, the harder it is to see. If you can't seem to see what part of the scale is activated, shine a flash light on it at an angle.Don't forget to remove a clear protective film on the front side.
