I needed a bigger cuff and buying a random larger cuff may not have guaranteed correct calibration. The measurements match with my surgery too. The app works fine, just remember your phone may need location switched on to connect. I am not too sure how long the supplied batteries will last so I purchased some others off here at the same time.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this. It's good quality, I had no problems connecting it to the app but it' simply doesn't work properly. The cuff needed at least 2 and sometimes 3 inflations to get a reading which means it's extremely tight and very uncomfortable on my arm. And even when I did get a reading the value was about 50 mmHg higher compared to a manual comparison reading taken by a doctor during a GP appointment. In the end I went with the doctors recommendation and bought an Omron brand instead.

in a nutshell Useless and unreliable. Instructions are confusing and in places difficult to figure out. Getting connected in first place really frustrating. Doesn't always connect to tranfer readings..that is if you can get the wretched thing to actually get that far. Cuff is confusing. Other makes have pipe and markers on bottom. This has pipe on bottom and markers on top (so impossible to see)Despite carefully placing cuff as per instructions it goes through the motions then 4 times out of 5 comes up with ER error message. reading. It is unteliable and frustrating to use. On the rare occasions it does work trying to get it to transfer the reading to the app is a hit and miss affair I tried our older Boots one. Ping...reading on first try. It very occasionally gives error but with this Beurer one EVERY session doing a series of 3 or 4 readings it needs a lot more tries. Even when it does work without changing anything and waiting a bit on next try invariably it goes through the motions then at the end ER error yet again.Not sure if it is defective or not but looking more carefully at reviews it seems I am not alone. There are many poor reviews. I contacted Beurer customer help but no response at all I bought this to record readings in in phone app but so far only a tiny number of readings this past week. VERY disappointed as I thought this was a reliable brand. This junk is going back and I will look for a more reliable brand that actually works as it is supposed to. Meantime its back to the old Boots one and recording readings in a notebook. Update sent back as faulty. Bought another good brand. Phenomenal difference. Cuff easy to use. Worked first time and every time. Transfers to its app no fuss. 20+ readings no errors. Complete contrast to one sent back. (Review of replacement one posted to help choose)

Great device

The Beurer BM54 Upper Arm Blood Pressure monitor I bought I set it up and left it in my drawer for a bout 2 months when I needed to use it simply didn’t work I thought it was the battery I changed them but unfortunately it didn’t work and it was to late to return as the retuning policy is for one month so I paid for faulty blood pressure monitor.

Très bon tensiomètre : simple à utiliser, rapide, et clair. Pas besoin d’être médecin pour s’en servir, une pression sur le bouton et hop, c’est parti. La petite housse de rangement est un vrai plus, surtout si vous aimez garder vos outils de santé bien rangés ou les emporter en déplacement. Je l’utilise aussi pour étalonner ma montre connectée, et les résultats sont cohérents — pratique pour garder un œil sur sa tension sans devenir parano. Et tant que l’écran me montre que mon cœur bat toujours, moi je reste parfaitement satisfait de cet achat

Ho acquistato il Beurer BM 54 per i miei genitori anziani e si sono trovati benissimo fin da subito. Il dispositivo è molto facile da usare, con un solo pulsante per avviare la misurazione. Non serve alcuna esperienza tecnica: basta indossare il bracciale e premere il tasto. Il display è grande e ben leggibile, con numeri chiari e visibili anche per chi ha problemi di vista. Inoltre, il dispositivo segnala eventuali aritmie cardiache e mostra i risultati con una scala colorata, che aiuta a capire subito se i valori sono nella norma. Un altro vantaggio è la memoria per due utenti, utile per tenere separate le misurazioni di due persone. Il bracciale è comodo e si adatta bene anche a braccia più robuste. Anche se ha la funzione Bluetooth per collegarsi allo smartphone, i miei genitori non la usano: il dispositivo funziona perfettamente anche senza app. In conclusione, è un ottimo misuratore per anziani: semplice, preciso e con un display adatto a chi ha bisogno di chiarezza. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca uno strumento affidabile per controllare la pressione a casa.

Viel mehr Geld für die Bluetooth Übertragung ausgeben, die letztendlich nicht funktioniert. Kalt kann man sich mit den Fotofunktion behelfen, aber das ist ja nicht Sinn der Sache! Ich habe viele Wege ausprobiert zB App neu installiert, Cache gelöscht, App gestoppt, die Bluetooth Verbindung mehrmals komplett neu verbunden, alle Rechte gegeben und ein weiteres Handy versucht. Nichts hat geholfen. Habe das Gerät seit 1 Jahr. UPDATE.: Nachdem ich die richte Jahreszahl (es muss anscheinend zwingend im Gerät selber) im Gerät eingegeben habe sehe ich nun alles in der Chronik. Die passende Anleitung konnte ich in der Hilfe bzw. FAQ Rubrik der App runterladen. Nun läufts wunderbar!
