Review: Top Bildqualität und Klasse Design - Hatte vorher den gleichen Dell 27 Zoll in WQHD bestellt und gegen diesen ausgetauscht. Der erste Monitor war auch ganz gut. Aber dieser ist mit seiner scharfen UHD Auflösung superscharf. Das ist wie Zeitung lesen. Ich hatte etwas gezögert da ich noch Windows 7 habe und die Skalierungsfunktionen nicht so gut sind wie in Windows 10.. Aber da ich nur Office Produkte (Outlook, Word, excel) zum arbeiten verwende und es da keine Probleme gibt ist das für mich Tiptop. Ob es bei Spielen anders ist kann ich nicht sagen. Aber sonst ist auch das Design ausschlaggebend gewesen. An allen 4 Seiten ein ultradünner Rand.. Die meisten Konkurrenzprodukte haben unten einen dicken Rand. Also ich finde das Gerät Klasse.

### ⭐⭐ Vorsicht: Monitor kann Kompatibilitätsprobleme unter MacOS haben!

Im Prinzip ein toller Monitor - für die Windows-Welt! Aber Mac-Usern würde ich zur Vorsicht raten. Ich bin mit meinem MacMini (2018) nicht der Einzige, der unter einem WakeUp-Problem des Monitors leidet. Im Gespräch mit der Dell-Hotline gab man unumwunden zu, dass es mit bestimmten Mac-Rechnern Probleme gäbe - und dass man sich dafür an Apple zu wenden habe. Aber Apple konnte hier auch nicht helfen! Warum das so ist, habe ich dann nach weiterer Recherche herausgefunden: Unter „Systemvoraussetzungen“ führt Dell ausschließlich Windows-Betriebssysteme auf. Apple - Fehlanzeige. Firmware-Updates gibt es auch nur für Windows (.exe-Dateien). Also wird der Monitor ohne Zugang zu Windows bald auch noch ein altes Hündchen sein. Und in einem englischsprachigen Dell-Forum fand ich eine mehr als entlarvende und zugleich arrogante Antwort des Dell-Moderators: „DELL-Chris M Moderator ​04-30-2018 01:11 PM Re: U2718Q, MacBook Pro, won't wake up? * When you open the U2718Q driver page, under "Operating system:", Apple OS is not listed. * When you open the U2718Q User's Guide, there is no reference to Apple, apple, MAC, or mac. I hear your complaint, but based on the above online documentation, there is no support for Apple OS and hardware. The data from TrendForce shows us that the U2718Q works with 90.4% of the market running a true Windows PC and operating system. It is just not cost effective for Dell to pay our monitor manufacturers more money to test on the Apple 9.6% share.“ Damit dürfte alles klar sein. Ich habe aufgrund des nicht zu behebenden WakeUp-Problems meinen Dell-Monitor zurückgegeben und einen speziell für Mac zertifizierten LG-Ultrafine 4K-Monitor gekauft. Kein WakeUp-Problem mehr. Amazon sollte dringend in der Produktbeschreibung darauf hinweisen, dass dieser Dell-Monitor nicht unter MacOS getestet wurde (das ist die harmlosere Variante der Formulierung!).
