Without knowing the specific properties of the above mentioned cleaner it is hard to say. Rinza is designed to break down milk protein and is suitable for automatic milk frothers and manual steam wands. If that is what you are cleaning on your machine, Rinza would be the right product to use.

What are the ingredients in this? The Jura milk system cleaner uses potassium hydroxide and sodium carbonate only.

I don't know what is in the Urnex alkaline but potassium hydroxide and sodium carbonate each have a PH>7 so they are alkaline. That may be why I started using the Urnex alkaline instead of the Jura cleaner 6+ years ago. I used it my first Jura, an S9, and in my current A9. I'm completely satisficed with the Urnex alkaline

Does anyone use this for a manual frothing system? Hoping to use this to minimize milk/sugar build up in the wand

I don't use it for that, but I can't see it hurting. I soak my parts in a solution of this product to remove buildup.

Excellent product -- Price performer

Excellent cleaner and definitely a value purchase. I've been using for several years on the automatic frother on my Jura coffeemaker. Hated the bother, mess, and expense of the official Jura product. Now I mix up a liter of cleaner at a time and just stick the suction hose into the liter jug then put the jug on the shelf for next time. Zero waste and I get 4-5 cleanings from a liter (60 cc of the concentrate). This works out to over 80 frother cleanings from a single liter bottle of the concentrate.

In short term use it seems like it cleans the milk system. Happy with the product. Using on Jura E8. Using original 30ml leaves a bit product unused in the conteiner, using 15-20ml per session for cleaning.
