I’ve been using ORAVET Dental Chews for my dog for a few months now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. My vet recommended them to help with tartar control and bad breath, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in both areas. The best part? My dog actually loves them. She gets excited every time she hears the crinkle of the package. Unlike some dental chews that are either too hard or too messy, these have a great texture—firm enough to clean her teeth, but not so tough that she loses interest. What sets ORAVET apart is the ingredient delmopinol, which I learned helps prevent bacterial attachment. It seems to be working, because her breath is noticeably fresher and her teeth look cleaner between vet visits. Yes, they’re a bit pricier than some other chews, but I think the quality and effectiveness justify the cost—especially if it helps reduce dental cleanings under anesthesia. I felt compelled to write this review. We just got (2.5 weeks ago) a rescue who was a stray. His teeth had what looked to me like weird gray mounds at the back of the molars. He would not let us brush his teeth or come close to putting anything in his mouth. At first we tried the regular, hard teeth cleaning chews. He liked them fine, but those seemed to just be a fun chew for him. We then decided to splurge on the OraVet Chews, which, granted, were quite expensive, but we were hoping to at least stall the progression of dental issues that he appeared to have. Our dog loved them, and treats them like a high value treat. They appear to be semi-soft when he bites down, so his teeth sink into the chew (as opposed to the more traditional, very hard tooth chews that just seem to crumble and are consumed quite quickly). Within a week of starting these we noticed that his teeth appeared whiter, and we could no longer find the gray at the back of his mouth. His breath also improved greatly. I would highly recommend this (at least to try) to anyone, I cannot believe that these chews were able to do this in just under a week.

This product actually delivers more than most!! My dog’s breath used to announce his presence, but I can get right in his face, and I don’t smell anything!! It does a better job than his dental cleaning did, no joke!

My dog is a 80 pounds Standar Poodle, he loves them. This is my second day. I will keep upgrading with the past days. He have a really bad smell like fish in his mouth but the first day it was almost gone, the bad breath. I like that it came in individual packages. He ate them in less then 10 minutes. Is a little pricy, but if it works and help him to have a good dental hygiene. I will keep buying them for him.

Our dog loves these and that’s an understatement. They definitely help with bad breath and keep tartar and plaque under control. However, we were just notified that our Subscribe and Save price is increasing 40% and that will be more difficult to justify.

My dog doesn’t go a day without one. He loves the flavor, the chewy-ness of it, and it doesn’t stink up my hands. I used to be in the veterinary business and oravet is what we recommended to all fur baby owners. Clean ingredients and easy to digest. Though be aware that the first few poops may be green… 🤣 and can dry black. They last well and stay fresh being packaged individually… so you don’t have to panic if the bag gets left unsealed… which happens a lot with the husband. My dogs breath is fresh and helps keep him out of the dental chair.

My dog loves these. I just started giving them to her and in 2 weeks her gingivitis has already cleared and her tartar is decreasing.

These dental chews work amazing for my 6 year old dog. There’s been a noticeable change in her breath and they’ve been keeping the tartar off. I’ve tried lots of other brands of veterinary approved dental chews but these are by far the best. Plus, she gets so excited to receive her chew each morning and takes a while to finish it.
