These fit the bill.The rubberized grip makes it easy to hold on to hot trays and pots etc. Hot jars don't slide out of your hands.The one down side is that the rubber itself does get hot. If you take a tray out of the oven with one hand, and then immediately try to pull the glove off with an unprotected hand, it can be really hot. All this means is that you either wait a few seconds, or pull the glove off from the back side.
