LAURA GELLER Baked Balance-N-Glow Illuminating Powder Foundation - Light

I have ordered this makeup twice so far. Because the price was very cheap and it is a very good quality brand name. It goes on easy and looks flawless with excellent coverage. I use a liquid foundation and use a powder puff to apply it. It doesn't take much and it last all day. I wear it daily and it is easy to remove.

Great quality but color was to light

This is the best foundation for Mature skin! It doesn't settle, and gives you just enough coverage and a subtle glow. My only complaint is the compact. My last two have broken at the hinge randomly while closing, so it's difficult to close the top and feel it's secure if taking it traveling.

This powder foundation is the best I have ever used. My face looks smooth and has a natural appearance and glow. Does not emphasize my lines at all. I am 67, fair completed, ginger/brown hair. I bought the 03 Light. I'm happy I purchased this.

UPDATE: I have used this for a week now and wanted to give an update to my review. I had mentioned the product made my face burn when I first used it, it's no longer doing that although my face is still red when I take it off . Second, I have found it doesn't go on uniform and leaves your face very splotchy, some areas very dark while others are lighter, This happens especially when you're trying to build it up, and if you have to rub your face for any reason, such as blowing your nose, it comes right off. You'll spend the rest of the day very splotchy; for this I dropped a star. It does provide the light to medium coverage that it says it does (don't expect full coverage). Also, I purchased the light (I normally wear a medium) and I feel it's still too dark for my skin tone. It says you can go up or down one shade either way but I'm not seeing that. I went down a shade from my normal foundation color and it's still too dark and looks like I've had my face in a tanning machine. I'm not planning to return because I do like using it very lightly over my foundation, I think it works very well for that purpose but as for foundation, I'll be sticking with my Estee Lauder! ORIGINAL I got this today and had to try it. I was very skeptical that it would give any coverage but I was very surprised. I would say it gives light to medium coverage but is definitely buildable It covers well, goes on very smooth and feels lightweight on your skin. The reason for only 4 stars is because I have controlled. I have only used Estee Lauder facial products for the last 15 years because they do not bother my rosacea at all. However, even though this product says it is good for people with rosacea, as soon as I put it on, my face started to burn so I washed it off. I didn't keep it on long enough to tell if it creased but I'm going to try it again tomorrow and I will update the review once I give it a second try.

This makeup lives up to the great reviews! It's gorgeous on your skin - blends so easily and the coverage is very nice but not cakey or unnatural . I've used Lancome pressed powder for years , but I'm changing ..

I am guessing most of the 5-star reviews on here are influencers getting a kickback for promoting the product. I returned this foundation and the primer for the following reasons: - I wanted a natural, balanced, look with a touch of healthy glow. More than one sweep in an area and it starts to look cakey. Not surprising if you watch LG's demonstration videos where she wears it thick and orange. That brings me to reason 2. - The color is off. This is supposed to be for light to medium skin tones. I usually fall in the middle part of that spectrum and this made me look like I had a fake tan. I'd probably do better with the fair but for the other reasons, I am not going to bother trying. - "Glow" is an understatement. We wore glitter in the 90s and didn't shine this bad. It borderlines a sparkly vampire with a spray tan. - Even with the suggested "spackle" primer, it settled horribly into the pores in my cheeks and around my nose and because of the "glow" that could guide an airplane to landing in the dark, it made them stand out even more. - I will give it one piece of positive feedback and that is that it did balance out the mild rosacea in my cheeks. It didn't do anything for my dark circles though but I wasn't really expecting it to do anyway. I did consider buying the fair, natural finish and use this light, sheer coverage as a bronzer/highlighter, but for almost $40 each, I decided to just send it back and stick with my Neutrogena and Maybelline tinted moisturizers.

Great foundation that's very easy to use and provides just the right coverage without masking or caking. The color is perfect for me as a light strawberry blonde redhead. I really appreciate that it provides some sun protection.

This product is easy to use and gives a nice glow as promised.

I bought this to replace a nearly empty very old compact of Laura Geller foundation. It was larger (probably supersized) and I loved it. But that was discontinued so I took a chance on this. My previous was colour correcting matte ... this one is colour correcting illuminating and when I opened, was much lighter in the compact than my previous one, which although also called LIGHT, was a darker medium colour (all marbled though). But I knew I could send it back if it didn't suit and this one is perfectly acceptable to me, going into Autumn/Winter when I'm slightly paler anyway. Nice texture, a hint of glitter which I guess is he illuminating factor. Arrived in tact (no cracks or powder explosions when I opened it). I tend to wear with or without primer depending on how much of a hurry I'm in. It doesn't sit in my large pores ... and it's very easy to start off with minimum for a natual no make up look ... and to build up more for a more refined finish. I also tend to use a straight brush if I want to use the lighter parts of the marble as a highlighter .... or the darker parts as a bronzer. Saves me having to use multiple products.

I'm only 2 days in, and so far I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I picked th we perfect shade, it looks like I have absolutely nothing on my skin. My technique for my aging, rough texture, enlarged pores, age spots, broken capillaries: First I moisturize let it settle a bit so it's not greasy, then I use ELF poreless putty on all my textured areas. Then I use NYX Bare with me prime set refresh spray. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Apply this product with a tight kabuki brush. I follow up with NYX contour and blush. Spray again with the NYX bare with me to set. Done! All day flawless looking skin, no expensive primers and such required, these affordable products work perfectly. I am so glad I tried it. I haven't enjoyed my skin in a few years and this in just 2 days has made me feel pretty again. It was worth every penny.

It goes on patchy, and not light more orange in colour
