Chalkboard Contact Paper - Self-Adhesive Wall Sticker Decal with 5 Colored Chalks - Blackboard Wall Decals for School, Office, Home (18"x79", Green)

First, as I write, the pictures I uploaded are sideways: I have this chalkboard paper on a piece of foamboard, and I have it horizontally. Anyhow, I got my husband to help me by holding one end of the paper, off the board and taut, and it went on very easily. I was able to lift some of it off to get a couple of bubbles out, but I haven't tried - and won't - to get it off now that it's fully on and smoothed down. I had lines on the foamboard and was able to get the contact paper on straight with no trouble. The yellow chalk that came with it didn't work very well, but the red and white are find - nice and even. I have to use a damp paper towel to erase, but that isn't much trouble and does the trick. I think it's going to work very well for keeping track of where I am in the various books I'm working on. I might by it again just to cover the top of the foamboard, though it's working fine for me at the size it is.

A little tricky to install in a tight space but with two people working right to left and using a wallpaper smoothing tool it was perfect! I also had no problem with trimming it and yanking on it to fit in this space - no tearing or anything. Easy to color on with chalk or chalk pens and easy cleanup with a little water. These are peel and stick shelves from amazon too as reference.

The white chalk that comes with the paper does not write well on it, but the other colors are okay. The paper itself is not very sticky, and didn’t stick well to our smooth surface table. The airbubbles actually lifted up corners and sides and we had to duct tape it to the edges of the table so it would stay. Luckily it works for the most part and it’s great for a makeshift crafting table with a little diy for getting it to fully stick!

Ease of mounting.

The quality of paper is thick and it rolls out easily & has forgiveness when applying. The problem is it had a lot of existing wrinkles from being rolled in the box which did not come out when I applied it. It also did not include the chalk that was supposed to come with it.

I was looking for something to put on the inside of a door on a trailer to write a daily changing mesage on. Went through mulpiple products that either didn't look good or didn't hold up well. Sometime when it rains the door will get wet and that usually destroys anything like this that I want to keep up. The adhesive on this stuck well and thus far has held up well. I think this product is going to be good for the long haul and should last for many years to come. The rest of the story is it is a chlk board. Liquid chalk after awhile bemomes rather permanent, but the regular dustless chalk looks good and easily wipes off for the next message. highly recommended.

Fell off the wall. I installed this on freshly painted wall, satin paint. It went up really easy, I was impressed, but by morning it was laying in the floor. I highly suggest painting the wall with Krylon chalkboard paint instead. That’s what I did. (Pictured)

I put this on the side of one of my kitchen cabinets near my trash and recycle bin. The cabinet was unfinished on that end now it looks perfect. My wife nicely wrote in chalk trash and recycle, worked great. There's a lot of purposes for this great product.
