Review: perfect dual use: under my desk and as a small dog treadmill - So I bought this for under my desk and to share with my 19-pound wire fox terrier. I'm still trying to sort out which desk to use as it doesn't fit perfectly under the desk I currently use for work, but I have 3 other options. I also have a dog with serious environmental allergies that is not responding well to the outdoors this summer. Even with frequent bathing and medication, she is always much itchier after we come back from a walk. Add to that the heat and humidity in the mid-south and she just wasn't getting enough exercise. This treadmill was relatively inexpensive and seemed fairly lightweight, given what it is. The specifics are given in the description. First, it was delivered quickly, a week ahead of schedule. Second, it was very easy to unpack and all I had to do was plug it in. It was also fairly lightweight, so it was easy to place in the room. As soon as I popped batteries into the remote, it was ready to go. And, FYI, it will not operate without the remote. It was very easy for my dog to hop on. One she has her harness on, she is ready to go. Two gray buttons on the remote raise or lower the speed by .5 miles with each click. The red button is to start and stop. We've easily used it daily since I got it, except for the 3-day power outage we had from a storm. The top speed is 3.7 mph. The deck is plenty long enough for her and for me. This is not meant to be a running treadmill, but a slower walking unit. Using a small treat reward system on average of about once per minute, we are now up to 17 minutes. Once I have my desk moved into place, it will be easy to move from one location to the other, so she can keep using it as well. I've been on it and it will work well under my desk. I've had no problem with the moving walking surface getting out of place so I have to realign it. For this price, the fact that I get a dual use from it makes it seem like a bargain to me. Review: This thing is great! Wish I hadn't waited so long to get one. - Update (April 7, 2020): I bought this in December 2019 so have had it just a smidge over 4 months now. I noticed a little ticking sound coming from the motor this morning. I used this for 1.5-3 hours a day, 5 days a week, so have really come to rely on it and I hope it isn't going to poop out on me. I took the main cover off to look for anything out of sorts and nothing stands out to me. Just the motor that turns the belt has a little tick. I still recommend it, though it is not purchasable as of this moment. I just hope I can get a couple of years out of it, at least. I read through the reviews on this before purchasing, but let me just jump to the point: Get this treadmill. I was concerned with the noise aspect from some reviews, though others said it was quiet. Some people seem to love this thing while others hate on it. I think it's great. It's easy for me to maneuver and stand up by the wall (not lean against, it actually stand on its own). It's quiet. I've been using it at 2.5 mph and people on the other end of my calls can kind of hear it in the background, but it's nothing distracting (I do heavily make use of muting myself when I'm not speaking). It's even quieter at lower speeds, and really it's the sound of my feet hitting it that can be heard at 2.5 mph, not the treadmill. It will run right at 100 minutes before stopping. This is good to me. It beeps right before it stops and I keep tabs on how long I've been going so I'm never surprised. I try to get a session in early in my day and again sometime after lunch. I'm really impressed with this unit for the price. Granted, I've had it only a couple of weeks, so longevity is not something I can speak to, but it seems very sturdy and I doubt I'd be able to maneuver one of the $1000 ones. I really like having the small remote, unlike some higher priced models (around $500) I was looking at that had a bulky controller to stick somewhere. Just follow the instructions and use the included oil on the underside of the belt as indicated. Easy. I wish I had gotten this sooner. Really. Yes it has some loud beeps before it starts. It does not run for 8 hour straight. These are not issues to me. It's quiet, it works well, I'm getting steps in I otherwise didn't have time for. Great job!

Great Deal for Price
The first time I ordered this product, it didn't work properly, whichc was extremely disappointing. However, their customer service rep was extremely helpful and quick to fix the problem. I sent back the treadmill and they got me a new one within 3 business days. Kind of a hassle, but the treadmill I have now works great. I have it paired with a desk extension that raises my laptop to the appropriate height to get work done. I'm very happy with this product and am very glad I have it. Just a few things to note: -It is very heavy. I am 25 years old and in relatively great shape, and it was a hassle getting the box into my car, to my office, up two flights of stairs, and set up. The box is very large and very difficult to carry. If I had had someone to help me it would have been a breeze. -Set up was painless and non existent. All I did was get it out if the box, and plug it in. EASY! Does not provide 2 AAA batteries for remote. -Easy to get up against a wall or out of site when I'm not using it. -Comes with tools needed for proper upkeep. -Makes loud noises when turning on, but I only share my office space with one other person, so this isn't much of an issue. -The product is larger than I thought, but it is STURDY and RELIABLE which is what I wanted. -Find it fairly easy to type and walk and walk and type. It takes a little getting used to, so be patient. The first week I felt a little dizzy, so I took frequent breaks. As I'm getting into better shape, the dizziness is a non issue and I'm getting a lot of work done. For $300, you're simply not gonna find a better product. I assume the $1,000 options are quieter, lighter, smaller, and more efficient, but I would much rather save the $700!

THREE month and SIX month review
Posting feedback during 3 stages; (1) Upon receiving (2) Three months later (3) Six month later I wanted to put it through some testing before leaving a feedback. I have now been using it for 6 months and here are my comments and ratings. Below is a documentation of my personal experience. Each person's experience will be different so look at all reviews before you buy it. Stage 1: Upon Receipt: 1) Delivery and Packaging; I would rate it "A" for quick delivery and excellent packaging. I kept the boxes for 30 days in the event I wanted to return it. 2) Portability: This package was delivered at my doorstep and I had no problems carrying it into the foyer and open it there and carry it without help it to the location where I planned to use it. It does have wheels to move it but I just carried it. I would rate it "A" for portability. (3) Setup: Virtually no setup required. Just plugged it and was ready to go. (4) Mat to protect carpet. I purchased a exercise equipment mat from Amazon to protect that carpet. Later I bought a second mat. So now I have two mats between the treadmill and carpet (5) Customer service: Possibly the best service I have seen. I had some minor issue with the remote and they rushed me a replacement right away. Stage 2) At THREE MONTH mark (6) Remote Control Usability. Just be aware that the remote has to be pointed directly at the base unit head to control speed. Not only has it to be pointed directly at the unit head but has to be in a reasonably close proximity. This can be a bit difficult for a taller person if one is using it at a high speed as it may need one to bend down a bit. I think this can be overcome by increasing range and coverage of the remote control. I will give it a B Plus for this since I am over six feet tall (7) Belt width: This is something I had issues with as I am a tall person and like to watch TV while using the treadmill. The width of the belt does not leave any margin of error for letting your attention wander more so at the top speeds. You could fall of if you day dream. That is not the fault of the treadmill since I bought it being fully aware of that restriction, but just a cautionary note if you feel you can have an issue with that do not but any treadmill without side railings. (8) Support while walking: If you plan on using it at higher speeds (like I do) I feel it is very important to have side supports of some type. My treadmill is placed adjacent to a bed. I purchased a four pronged walking stick for one side and use a set of pillows on the bed for holding on the other side. Between the two I feel i have enough support. Each person is different so I would suggest look at what you are comfortable with. If that is an issue buy a treadmill with side supports. (9) Oiling the Machine: I used the bottle of oil provided at the 2 month mark. It is fairly difficult spreading the oil using the bottle they supplied and I could not find instructions on how to do it. The oil got distributed unevenly and left large blobs of oil marks. I did see the need to get an oil bottle with a long nozzle to spread the oil the next time. i did buy one on Amazon. (10) Performance: I used the machine almost daily for about and hour and it is still working very good and the motor is running smooth. Stage 3) SIX MONTH mark (11) Oiling: I oiled the treadmill once more using the new oil bottle with a long nozzle and it was very easy to apply the oil. (12). Have used it almost daily for 6 months with absolutely no issue on performance. The remote works good and speed transitions is smooth. My machine is still working very smoothly. I still use it approximately one hour a day. (13) Minor irritants: The measurements are not in units we are used to in USA (it is in km per hour) and also if you pause the unit the memory resets to zero, I will try to post my next remark in a few more months.

Definitely good for the money
Just for the record, I am an everyday Amazon shopper and was looking for a treadmill for my home for a long time. I was incredibly skeptical and weary of buying this, not only because it's a good chunk of change, but also because I was worried it would be super cheap. I've looked at probably 30 different treadmills on Amazon and other websites and this one seemed to be the best for the cost. I was hoping to find something with a hand rail, mostly because I tend to walk from side to side normally if I'm not paying attention, but as long as I'm not going too fast, I'm fine. I was super excited once I did buy this treadmill and unboxed it. I was worried it would get damaged in shipping or some over the top irrational thing would happen (just because my mind always goes to worst case scenario). To my surprise, there was very minimal damage to the box, normal wear from being shipped/stacked, whatever else. It was protected well with styrofoam and when I took it out of the box, it was a lot more sturdy than I thought it would be! I use this treadmill pretty much every day for about 45 minutes at 4.5-5km and it has worked great so far! I haven't noticed any slacking or anything like that. I use it on a yoga mat on carpet and it seems to work just fine. There are two things I'd change about this machine 1. I'd like to be able to convert to mph/miles and it would be nice if the increments were not .5, but .1 2. I wish there was an app to control it Other than that, for the money this is a great treadmill!

Cheapest On Amazon - Here's Why...
My unit came with the plastic housing around the display all scuffed up, looking like it was used. I emailed support and within 24 hours and agreed to a small refund. >> THE GOOD: - No assembly required. - Easy to move around (stores upright if you choose). >> THE BAD: - Every time you turn it on, there's several very loud beeps. - While it's on, it's not that quiet. You can hold a conversation, but the folks I've been on the phone with have been able to hear it in the background. - It shuts off every 90-120 minutes without warning. This is not documented anywhere in the manual, but support said that it's a normal 'safety' feature and they're adding it to the manual. Would I buy it again? No. I would spend a few more dollars on the higher rated models that would hopefully be quieter and not have the quirks this has.

Gamechanger for an office job
Absolute game changer for working a desk job. I've had a sit/stand desk for a few years but never enjoyed standing as much as I hoped, never felt very comfortable and ended up mostly sitting still despite having the option. Walking is just walk more natural than standing still and working, I now spend about 40% of my workday walking and 60% sitting and this has worked really well for me. I feel much less drained, and more energized after a long day at the office now, I can't tell you the ways in which walking 10,000 steps a day at work has changed my mental and physical experience around my desktop job. I've had it for 3 months, and absolutely love it. The product is easy to move (I have no problem adjusting a couple times a day from walking to sitting in a cubicle). The fact the it has wheels and can be stored vertically is extremely helpful in this regard. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner, I thought the transition period would be harder to working while walking, but it was almost non existent. (with the exemption of penmanship, and I'm probably only 98-99% as accurate with the mouse which doesn't matter for most professions). The treadmill certainly has a couple quirks as mentioned in other reviews (such as only can be operated by remote, loud beeps upon startup), but nothing major. The biggest surprise for me is how quiet it is, I am not sure what the reviews are stating it's loud are comparing it to, it is very quiet for a treadmill and exceeded the expectations of myself and those around me. I work in cubicles and nobody has an issue with the noise, I've gotten tons of compliments about how surprising the lack of noise is. Even though I've had it for 3 months, some people are still surprised when they see me walking because the didn't even hear it as they approach my cube from around the corner. The treadmill is fairly sturdy, I weigh over the suggested limit of I believe was 180lbs or something close to that (I weigh 205) and feel very sturdy walking on it (although it can to adjusted to a jogging speed, I don't think I'd be comfortable the sturdiness at that setting with my weight). I actually purchased this model instead of the more "high-end" models from my research mostly because of how mobile it is, and it does not disappoint. When Covid-19 began I moved the treadmill from the office to my house, then back to my office again a few weeks later and it was very easy to do so. As long as it holds up in the long term (and it has given no indication is won't), this is a no doubt 5 star product and experience all the way around.

Wow This Treadmill Works Great!
I love this treadmill. I was afraid to spend $300 on a treadmill but tis was totally worth it. I was afraid that the belt would be to narrow. I bought a cheep one from Walmart.com a few years ago and it was terrible because the belt was to narrow and it was always on a small incline. This one is perfectly flat and is perfect for my stride. Im 5.7" and a female if that helps anyone. It was easy to take out of the box and roll into my spare bedroom. I made my own standing desk from a folding table and a smaller table on top. The speed is perfect. I like walking on 1.5 or 2 and I can watch youtube while I'm walking to keep me entertained. I work from home and its so hot here in florida this time of year so walking in my home is exactly what I needed. I wish I would have bought it sooner. I was spending a lot of time driving to the mall and gym to walk.
