I used this in my flower bed because I did not want to kill what was already there, and while it has not been full proof, it has drastically decreased the amount of weeds in comparison to last year. It is easy to use, and I have enough to use for multiple years to come, so I think it was well worth it. The instructions were somewhat vague, so I just used a light cover and sprayed it down with water once and allowed nature to do the rest, and it has worked well for the last 3 months- I did end up applying a second layer after about a month because I had some weeks poke through, but I haven’t touched it since and it looks great!

I keep Preen Weed Preventer on hand at all times. It is a necessity for using in my flower beds to prevent the weeds from taking over. The only downside is that it does not work on weeds already growing but I try to pull the weeds early in the Spring and then spread the Preen over the soil to prevent new weeds from sprouting. I could not believe how well it worked, but you do have to retreat your flower bed every three months.

This product works great in flower beds. Keeping the weeds down so I don't have to get out there and take em out does not affect the flowering of my flowers or interfere with their growing process

I've been using this stuff or years and it works pretty darn well. In Arizona, we use a lot of landscape rocks to avoid excessive water use. I apply "hopefully just before an early Spring and Fall rain" so it gets saturated. Good Results there. However, at our hone in Washington, where dandelions are relentless predators, it is less efficient. Thus far, so is everything else.

I purchased this garden product to stop weeds from forming in my flower beds and it keeps weeds out for 3-4 months. It is the best product available. It is truly works. It allows your flowers, bushes, small trees to flourish, while it saves you from manually having to remove unwanted weeds. If you want beautiful curb appeal, use Preen.

Although I mostly garden organically, I have one gravel path that is overrun by spotted spurge every growing season, and despite much hand weeding, I finally tried this product ONLY on the gravel path. When applied every three months, very effective against this dastardly spurge. Easy to use.

I have used Preen as a per-emergant in my gardens for years. It is a great product, keeps the weed seeds from starting but does not interfere with the established plants.
