These pliers are great! I have been trying to find a 8” needle nose that would replace my Snap Ons with out costing a paycheck! They arrived yesterday, I used them for 2 small electrical jobs, then to fish a 6-32 stainless steel nut where it ended when I dropped it. I was leery about using the 8” pliers to tighten up the 3 nuts. Knipex you make awesome pliers!!! I wish I found you 5 years ago, instead of now when I am having trouble with arthritis. Crazy good quality tools. Normally I'd argue for it being overpriced, but at the HRC Knipex uses for their cutters, I'm sure they have to QC out examples above and below their acceptable range.

I thought the knipex craze was a lot of hype. After watching some impressive YouTube videos I have recently been buying knipex when I need some hand tools. Got into a rough spot where I couldn't reach a socket inside an engine with my regular needle nose. The normal size didn't have enough reach, the long reach pliers I own have handles that are too long to get in the spot. Borrowed a pair of SnapOn from someone else to get the job done and decided to get my own short handle long nose pliers so I didn't get in a bind next time. The price on these was better than the snapons and side by side I think these are nicer, (although they are about 1/8" shorter than the snapons from hinge to the tip of the jaw). They've got some special stuff going on over there at knipex factory. The jaws bite like no other jaws, the hinge is solid, the noses don't flex, and the pliers have a satisfying thud when you open and close, they're well built and something special, not like the other needle nose pliers I own. And most importantly they're long enough to fish a spark plug socket out of a spark plug tube :) The problem is I used to be satisfied with my old pliers, ignorance was bliss I guess. Now I have been exposed to how nice a good set of pliers can be and unfortunately have felt the need to replace my toolbox tools with knipex a little at a time. So thanks a lot Knipex.

Great needle nose pliers, seem to be better than 99% of needle nose pliers i have used.
