Subtle red hue/highlights. **Q: Does it have a bleaching agent in it?** A: I don't think so - there is no bleach or ammonia in these products (I tossed the box but I think you can read the ingredients online)- these are almost entirely all natural. I think it "adds" color on top of existing. **Q: What color does this come out on medium-brown hair? The box looks red - is it red?** A: Yes it is a darker red on brown hair. I've used it for years and it is red over white and brown hair too **Q: How long does the color last?** A: I re-colored every four weeks.
