I posted another review about how this product failed my expectations. The problem is, when it arrives, the vacuum attachment is folded in half. You can get it straight and if you try to hold it straight while using, the sides collapse and render it ineffective. The seller sent me a replacement without my asking. Thank you! This time around I preheated my oven to the lowest temperature which is 170. I put the attachment in there for about 15 minutes and when I took it out, it was extremely flexible. I just help by one end and let it hang until it cooled down. Not only is it straight but it’s retained some flexibility and the sides don’t collapse.

Another reviewer was accurate then they said that this item arrives folded and that it works a lot better if you heat it and then straighten it. Otherwise, it wants to remember it was folded and is a lot harder to use. I heated mine in the oven for just a few minutes at 170, then took it out while it was still hot and quite soft. I let it hang upside down for a few minutes then laid it on a flat surface to cool. That one small thing makes all the difference. Once it cools into a pretty straight shape, it is effective for reaching into narrow spots. I bought it to clean my lint catcher on my front loading dryer and it is perfect for thatOverall, it lost a star because of the way it is packed and the need for "fixing" it. But super happy and it works for what I needed it for

Handle comes off if you use this a few times. This was the second dryer lint cleaner product I tried. It’s long and the brush does work well. I wish the handle would have stayed on as you need it for both grip and extension length for cleaning.I’m going to see if I can get the wood handle to stay on. If not the product for me is useless. Holding the thin metal rod and/or bristles to just use it is almost painful for me. I’ve got bad hands etc and just can’t grip a wire type 2 inch piece of metal that should be connected to the handle and is also rough. Or the bristles that are dirty and rough from cleaning aren’t an option.I would recommend to the makers to get the handle to stay on better. Also including a way to clean the brush would be excellent. Can I wash it, or how should I clean it. How about adding a product that helps get the thick lint off the dryer brush?

This dryer kit works great, pull a lot of fluff from the vent with a brush, and then use the vacuum attachment to suck out the rest. The great thing is that the vacuum attachment and the brush are long enough, and the amount of fluff is very amazing. it is cleaned every week.

Use a long brush to pull out many large lints from the exhaust of the dryer. The brush is soft.Vacuum cleaner hose is easier to straighten and bend after it is soaked in warm water. Before using hose, it is recommended to pull out large lint with a brush.vacuum hose to absorb small lint to prevent blocking hose.

The Shark Rocket hose is too large to attach to the flexible lint trap tool.The flexible lint trap tool fit on my Stanley wet/dry 2-gallon vacuum, so I'm happy with this purchase.As others noted, the tools arrived folded. I laid out the lint trap tool on a flat surface and flexed it every now and then for a few days, and it's okay now.

My dryer has the vent screen in the front of the unit. It fills with lint even with the filter in place. I thought this item would help vacuum the lint out, but no. The inside measurement of the nozzle is so narrow that it immediately clogs every time. It is not within my wheelhouse to vacuum my dryer after every load of clothes. So when this nozzle clogged immediately and my vacuum does not have a reverse blower, I found myself trying to blow it clear with my own mouth. YUCK!! I can't believe I did that! The brush with this set is much to wide to be useful while cleaning the vent. I am disappointed in this product and do not recommend it.

Both elements came folded in half and it took several days and a couple of tries to get the flexible tube straight enough to use. The brush still has a bump where it was crimped in half and I'm afraid it is going to get stuck in the dryer vent. After the fact, I found one at Walmart for a fraction of the cost that I actually like much better!
