NovaFerrum Pediatric Drops Liquid Iron Supplement

Very good if you are anemic.excellent for senior citizens

This supplement has the best dosage of iron per volume (2ml has 30 mg iron), which is what my son's pediatrician recommended for anemia. It took a week for him to adjust to taking, and now it's his bath time treat. I give it to him in the bath so he can drink some water immediately after, and I can brush his teeth and tongue. I also give him liquid vitamin c before the iron, since the Yummy doesn't have vitamin c in it.*Warning* This turns my child's stool black! It was alarming at first, but it's getting better as time goes on. He's been on it for 5 weeks, and his poo color has somewhat returned to normal.

My daughter was found to be anemic at 15 months old and requires iron supplements daily. I have been through at least 5 iron supplement products, some that worked marginally for only a little while—then she started fighting me on taking it. Once I switched to this, it was a game changer. She takes it best from the dropper and doesn’t fight me like she did. She sleeps so much better and seems more satisfied overall. Hopeful these results will continue over time! I put it on Subscribe and Save to increase savings now that I know it works for us.

These have been wonderful for my one-year-old boy—they go down easily and must taste fine. But, the eye dropper that’s included in the box is trash. First of all—an eye dropper? For a supplement that requires measuring? And secondly, if measuring weren’t a concern, it doesn’t even squeeze hard enough to empty the eye dropper completely, so you have to squeeze many times (laughable when giving medicine to a toddler!) to try and get it all out. If you buy it, just know you’ll need your own syringe.

Great taste and worked like a charm for my 6 yr old. My daughter can’t swallow ferrous sulphate iron drops. She used to puke after that. Then I tried this one and it worked out great .
