Nice kettle!! When I first unboxed it I thought it may be too light weight. It’s actually perfect, looks nice and does the job. Nice whistle!

I’ve been using this stainless steel stovetop whistling tea kettle for a while now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen essentials. The first thing that stands out is the durable stainless steel construction. Made of food-grade 18/8 stainless steel, it feels solid and high-quality, and I have no doubt it will last for years without rust or corrosion. Every surface that touches water is food-safe, which gives me peace of mind. The design is both practical and elegant. The mirror finish looks beautiful sitting on my stovetop and is very easy to wipe clean. It adds a touch of style to the kitchen while also being highly functional. The thin base was clearly well thought out, because it heats up quickly and evenly. I can boil water for tea, coffee, or even instant meals in no time at all. One of my favorite features is the ergonomic handle and spout mechanism. The heat-resistant Bakelite handle makes it safe to grip without oven mitts, and the spout has an automatic lifting cover that opens smoothly when I pour. It’s a very thoughtful design that makes handling the kettle effortless and comfortable. The 2-quart capacity is just right for daily use. It’s enough to make tea or coffee for the whole family, or to serve a small group of friends without needing to refill and reboil water repeatedly. I’ve used it on both my gas and induction stoves, and it works perfectly with both. It’s best on medium heat, and it boils water surprisingly fast. Overall, this tea kettle is a perfect combination of quality, design, and performance. It’s reliable, stylish, and extremely practical. The tea kettle is well made and stylish. I really like it. My issue is the lid appears to be for another tea kettle as only one side seals. The other side only partially fits in the opening which then inhibits the whistle. I have not heard from Amazon nor the company in regards to my concern. I went through all the recommendations for sealing the lid with no resolution. I would recommend the tea kettle with hopes they send it with the correct lid. In looking at photos shared by others; I see many with lids flush with opening on only one side.

Its been about a year since I have purchased this teapot, and unfortunately, this did not stand the test of time. It was great at first. Its a very cute teapot. But let me list the problems I found with it, for they are numerous. 1. The sheen on the outside soon began to tarnish. Maybe theres something I don't know about taking care of a stainless steel teapot, but I have scrubbed this thing with everything, and it never looks clean anymore. 2. The whistle stopped whistling properly. Now it just spits hot water. 3. Shortly after buying it, it started to have a buildup in the bottom of the inside of the teapot. I didn't think it would be a problem, but after about 6 months, the rust inside had eaten through the bottom, and it started to leak slightly. Now after a year, it leaks so much that I can't use it anymore. 4. The tip of the spout has a hinged flip thing, I'm not sure what it's for, but it causes the water to spill when you pour. So all I all, would not recommend. Not a good purchase. Sadness.

It's simple, practical, and does exactly what it should. The stainless steel body has a polished mirror finish that looks nice sitting on the stove, and it feels durable without being too heavy. The 2-liter capacity is just right for making multiple cups of tea or even filling a French press, so it’s a good size for daily use. The whistle is loud enough to hear from another room, which I appreciate since it’s easy to forget a kettle on the stove. The heat-resistant folding handle is a thoughtful detail—it stays cool enough to grab, and the folding feature makes storage easier, especially if you don’t have a lot of counter or cabinet space. I also like that the pour spout doesn’t drip, which is something I’ve had issues with on cheaper kettles. It does take a bit of time to heat up since it’s stainless steel, but that’s expected and the water stays hot for a while once it’s boiled. Overall, it feels well-made and reliable, with a timeless design that fits any kitchen style.

It works well on gas and electric cooktops, but performance on induction cooktops is mediocre. It takes ~twice as long to boil 1 liter of water on an induction cooktop as an identically sized enameled steel kettle. Unlike most stainless steel kettles it does not have a separate induction-compatible base. Instead it is made of a type of stainless steel that attracts magnets, albeit only weakly. The sound of the whistle, which is in the lid, is very weak, and does not work at all unless the annoying spout cover is in place.

Good quality Kettle with a straight forward spun metal body so no awkward rust attracting crevice's and crannies. Thought it a tad expensive for what it is though.

The AMFOCUS kettle exceeded my expectations! Quality stainless steel kettle, and yet light weight so when it is full, it is not heavy to carry. The handle fits comfortably well in my hand and can be tilted side to side. Pour spout has a lid that can be lifted and it pours water precisely. The kettle rests evenly on my glass top stove. This is a Perfect size kettle for everyday use. The whistle lid can be adjusted tight or loose. I find the whistle sound perfect, not too loud or piercing. Thankfully the kettle exterior is simple to clean and polish. My hand fits inside, but for anyone with larger hands a soft cloth or brush will work. I have hard water and therefore need to regularly clean pots that are used for boiling water. Although I haven’t used it enough to cause a build up, I believe lemon juice or vinegar (my method of cleaning stainless steel) will clean it up nicely. Comes with a complimentary packet of citric acid detergent. The design fits well in my country kitchen. The kettle arrived in a simple but nice looking box. I am delighted with this particular kettle!

Before buying this kettle, my husband and I were both using different machines for our coffee. They were taking up bench space, and also both were extremely difficult to clean. This kettle makes me feel like it's helping to make my life so much more simple. No cords. It's fantastic! I can dunk it right into the sink for a full clean, I just love it! Plus I'm ALWAYS down for old fashioned things that work well, cast iron etc. This kettle ticks so many boxes for me!

Amazing item. It gets used daily. No more plastic kettle. Stainless steel is much better.

A bit pricey for Australia, but a great kettle. Well designed, light, excellent quality, and very elegant.
