It’s very shiny; whistles loud enough to hear in other room. Lid closing a little difficult at first. It seems rust resistent. It looks great setting on my stove. A little pricey but I love it

It’s so awesome! I love everything about it.

The lid opening doesn’t fit the lid well. It is too tight and takes a lot to close and open it. As a result, I have to wait to add water after boiling till it cools down to add more water. I got a slight burn on my forearm during the first use when trying to add more water to the hot kettle. The lid was impossible to open! But it pours well, heats well, and the handle works well. I do love the look of the mirror finish, and the shape of the pot.

This is a great kettle for boiling water. The tight-fitting lid is a nice feature. The whistling sound is okay, which is great for not missing it, but be aware that it can't be turned off by just opening the spout.. You have to remove it from the heat to stop the sound or just let the whistle wind down after turning off the heat.. If you like to let your water get extra hot, this might be a small inconvenience. Overall, it's a good kettle.
