Excellent book! Despite being 80 years old Aaron's approach works well. Introducing new skills little by little and building up techniques is great and doesnt overwhelm the student.

Ideal for the beginner
Have recently taken up piano lessons and this is the book my teacher is teaching from. Only six weeks in but seems like a really good book to learn from and so would definitely recommend. Find it very easy to follow.

Adult piano course
I purchased this book as I was very keen to learn how to play a keyboard. Now with the help of this book and a tutor I feel I am actually achieving a life long ambition. Still a long, long way to go but it's a start.

Just getting back to playing the piano after 2 decades or more. This is the perfect resource to get you back to the keys. And wow for the nostalgia factor, my childhood started flooding back after a few pieces.

Well designed for adult students
I started this book 3 weeks ago. My friend has a master's in music and is teaching me to play, I am 26. The songs are not your typical boring stupid songs to learn as a beginner. They actually sound good and are designed to teach basic concepts without being a drag. No chopsticks, haha. I would recommend this book to any adult wanting to learn piano. A good friend helps too.
