Micro fishing bait
You have to get one of these. They catch everything in fresh water.

No bait no problem! I'm a beginner fisherman, trout like it!
I just started fishing again after a decade! This little guy is a go to for me now for sure!I bought the horse fly lure to fish in a pond that you're only allowed to use lures, flys, and hooks. After days of trying all my lures, I found they liked jig heads with a skirt tied around them, a copper blue fox spinning lure, and then this little dude the most for sure. When it's in the water it really looks like a big bug floating. I'm not the best with all the lure lingo, but the swimming action is good. It vibrates a lot and shakes it's booty like crazy and you can feel it in the rod, that attracted fish for sure.I wanted the bumble bee but there are far more horse fly's in the area than bumble bee's and it's $3 cheaper so that's why I went with the horse fly. Immediately had a bite 2nd cast, my friend caught a trout and then I caught a trout and it was immediate! They kept biting, but there were too many people fishing the small trout pond so we called it, but by far they were going for this lure the most.I will say, the trout in this pond are pretty big from what I've seen in my life, which is river trout, and they fight pretty hard when you get a big one, the hooks did bend out a little and when the fish was flailing around it also managed to tangle the line under the wing of the lure which could've cut the line if it was lighter # weight, could be sealed off with glue or something to prevent that if you're using like 2-6lb mono, but I could also see the wing getting busted off and for $6-11 i don't think that should be an issue with a lure.If I had to guess the one I caught was 11" and under a pound that bent the hook. So don't try to catch bass unless you change the hooks out to a larger #4 treble or something! Totally flailed and snagged me with the hook and sliced right through my finger so the hooks are good and sharp. A blood sacrifice for the fishies, I'm all for it!I would recommend! - Connor

Realistic
It has a moderate left and right movement and dives slightly. Looks convincingly like an insect.

Worth every penny
Caught A TON of fish popping this along the top when river fishing. Varied types of fish and sizes. Had a blast, and so far only one day trip's worth of use. I also like that you can use it for shallow dive too. I can't wait to use the bumble bee pattern next and see how that goes. Buy it!

The horsefly catches fish
I was pleasantly surprised when I caught a decent sized bass and a blue gill on this lure. It seems pretty good quality. I’ve seen other reviews about it breaking but I haven’t had that issue yet.
