It was great for my 2 and 4 year old. Was a little big on my two year-old fit better on my four year-old but room to grow. It kept both of them clean and paint free while they painted. It was super lightweight. I don’t feel like they got hot. Wiped clean with no problem.

Great for daycare, messy play! The material is very thin, but it does the job. They are very long on toddler aged kids (2-3). The colors are vibrant and very fun. We’ve used it for painting, slim, mud play etc, and it protected the kids clothes from it all. Great for kids messy play!

I bought a mud kitchen for the grandkids and wanted to send them home to Mom the way she dropped them off at my house. These smocks kept the dirt and mud off their clothes just like I hoped they would.

Purchased for my first grader who's 4'1" tall and wears a youth 7/8 and his cousin who's also a first grader, but is 3'6" and wears a youth 4/5. With the difference in sizes, the fit varied, but they both were protected from water color, tie dye, and acrylic painting fine. For my child, the length hit a little below the waist vs. his cousin which landed at the knees. The arm length was perfect for my child, but was long for his cousin. Although the sleeves band at the wrist, so it was fine. The finish is plastic, so it's lightweight and water resistant. I wiped spills immediately with a wet wipe, so clean up was easy. I would suggest just wiping them down and hanging to dry to clean. The pockets were very handy to keep supplies so the kids weren't hunting for brushes, napkins, rubber bands, or whatever they needed for their arts and craft.
