**Q: At what point does a simple stone qualify as a 'gemstone' when it's cut?  These seem more stone than gem.**
A: Well I have to see your samples I like to say when you were young you maybe skip rocks on a lake to see the ripples now that you're older you skipping rocks made of precious semi precious stones to have ripples of emotions in people.

**Q: Can I seal these manufactured emeralds so they won’t transfer color to the skin?**
A: If you do anything to the stone it should be only cleaning with cotton cloth and a light mineral oil and use a magnifying app to look at the stones.

This item is being sold by the carat weight. Some bags have less than 20 pieces; however, when you weigh the bag it comes out to 200 carats. It is not being sold by the stone. The cuts are nice however each stone is not the same size. I purchased these to make a choker collar. They are lovely and I will purchase more for I need 300 to 350 pieces.

These were well cut. Mine were all rectangular and pretty close to the same size and color. I am not an expert, but they looked dyed to me so if that is true, they would not be "natural". There was no drilled hole, so I will have to buy a mount or do a wire wrap, which I don't like. If they were not so obviously dyed I would have given them a 5. I haven't tested them yet to see if the dye will come off . If it does I will be putting a sealer on them to end that problem. Emeralds that size with a AAA++ grade for less than $20? You get what you pay for.
