How can I wash or remove debris?

That's a good question. First gently shake it out by hand and remove it before the debris has time to adhere. Otherwise, wipe the dirt with a wet towel or tissue if there is stain on the blanket. But in any case, we would not recommend machine washing this lovely blanket because the waterproof backing may be easily punctured or torn in the wash.

How would you wash the picnic blanket?

I recommend spot clean or hand wash for maintenance and it can be cleaned by damp cloth. This blanket can not be machine washed or dry cleaned, naturally air dried and line dry in the air will be fine.

No it's not , I used it in 90 degree weather. I'm not sure if it's because of plastic backing but it was fine
