The description states that this lamp has a foot switch in the power cord but the picture clearly shows a twist switch on top of the reflector/director shade. In actuality the picture was correct. It has the twist switch on top. Also the link for gold tone and silver tone is juxtaposed in some views as you navigate the web pages for this product.I received the order via Prime within a couple of days and examined the contents. I ordered the gold tone which I thought would be brass, but probably for durability reasons they used brass plated steel. It still looks astonishingly good. The assembly was quick (about 10 Minutes). I used a pure white LED bulb in each lamp. Yes, after receiving the first unit and finding out exactly what it was, I immediately ordered another.I highly recommend this lamp based on the functionality, appearance and ease of assembly. ### ⭐ WARNING to purchasers electrical defect *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2019* This lamp had a very dangerous electrical fault. During factory assembly one of the wires was left sticking out of the loose screw it was placed under in the lamp socket and this caused it to short the switch across the outlet. When I plugged the lamp in and turned it on the first time, it sparked and flamed and threw some hot metal out of the housing. I disassembled it and found the issue with the screw. Basically no QC and assemblers in a hurry. I paid very good money for this lamp and it's not nearly the quality I expected. In addition to this, the lamp was packed inside that very soft Styrofoam which basically disintegrated leaving the lamp housing slightly bent and a massive unpacking mess. What DOES NOT HELP is Amazon's continued practice of shipping things in large boxes with NO additional packing.
