Expedition Sketchbook: Inspiration and Skills for Your Artistic Journey

This is not a how-to type of book, it’s more so for inspiration and motivation. It has some tips to drawing better but this product is not a step by step guide. If that’s what you’re looking for then I suggest another book but if you’re looking for beautiful pictures, inspiration, and motivation if you’re in an art block then this is for you!

The pages are so crisp and fresh, and (most) the images are high definition. The book was a real gem, and I’m glad that I have it in my possession. If you’re like me and love Loish, this a must-have type of book for your art collection.

I love this book so much! Very inspiring and helpful in some areas. The artist comes across as encouraging and kind, and that is always nice when you're trying to learn. I'm so glad I bought this book and was introduced to a great artist.

I've just skimmed through it but I can ready tell it's amazing ♡ I can't wait to actually read the tips, inspiration and skills with the beautiful art work along side it. The book also seems very high quality too. :)

The media could not be loaded.  Aaaah it’s finally here!! I was so excited to preorder this and was checking on it every once in a while for over a month. Unfortunately there are some problems with the book, while they’re super minor they did ultimately take away from my experience. The corners are a bit bent (I assume from shipping) as well as there is a small tear on the cover. While the book cover feels very nice, it is easily scratched. I had a coworker come over and jokingly run his fingernails on the cover that I ignored, but then lifted up to see that despite him having barely to no nails the cover now has small scratches on it.Obviously the art makes up for it and i’m not trying to be too nit-picky, I just wanted to set some expectations for other people who are considering a glossy and tough wearing book :) I am still rating four stars though because of the tear, since i’m adding it to my artist book collection next to loish and others, and I like to keep them in very good shape.But hey!! If you love adorable art or especially Cyarine’e art, it’s 110% worth the price!! Beautiful and adorable artwork, I have yet to really delve into the tips but i’m so excited to read it and incorporate some tactics into my own artwork!

Let's be blunt real quick! This is NOT a How-to-Draw book by any means. I've been an avid follower of Cyarin for a few years now and have seen her style grow and develop.This book shows you glimpses of her process, and her advice on how to develop yourself as an artist and your own unique style. It's as exactly as the Title says: it's an expedition of discovery!Some of the advice is pretty simple, but it's often the simple things we overlook and pass up but are quintessential in the learning and growth process of being an artist. You're not going to pick up a pencil and immediately be this crazy amazing artist and be instantly famous.This book I believe is an amazing resource for artists of every level! A must have for reference when you're feeling stuck and need that little push of encouragement and inspiration.

you can tell this was written very personally. it has some great tips, as well as lovely art. great gift for anyone who is/wants to be/likes artists on instagram or other sites. It's filled with tiny prompts and inspirations for someone if they don't know what to draw/do, along with a lot of process pages (showing a piece from start to finish in steps)

The images are beautiful and gives so much inspiration as I embark on my own creative endeavors. The binding and cover are very nice quality. It is a hardcover book too which is a nice feature. Overall really love it!

Qualidade muito boa, artes perfeitas

The book itself came in as good as new, but i would like to mention how informative this book is, i already liked thi artist a lot and wanted to support her, and i bought this thinking it would contain mostly artwork, but the artist wrote her thoughts on how she learned to do things, her ideas of how to progress and more, i found it very helpful and it made me like it even more, I truly recommend it!

El libro vino en perfectas condiciones, bueno, un poco sucio pero con una toallita se soluciona. El contenido es muy interesante, si amas el trabajo de esta artista y la ilustración en general es muy recomendable, no es un libro sombre cómo aprender a dibujar, sino las experiencias, métodos y tips de Cyarine

Schön geschrieben, sehr übersichtlich gestaltet! Wer sich aber viele und große Tipps erwartet, der sollte sich lieber ein anderes Buch kaufen. Es ist nämlich so aufgebaut!1. Seite mit Zeichnung2. Seite mit Erklärung, Inspiration und Gedanken zur Zeichnung, manchmal mit Tipps.Trotzdem ein tolles Buch und sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man die Künstlerin dahinter unterstützen möchte.

As someone who loves Cyarin's art, this artbook was such a nice discovery! I would definitely recommend it if you like their art or if you like art in general; you'll find nice tips and amazing paintings!
