"My Cooking" West-African Cookbook

I purchased this book to make a rice dish that I had. With this book I was able to make the dish and my family loved it and I started to make it with different meats just to see what it would taste like. Try the book, you'll love it.

Nice layout. Not much context or description. Good if you like simple and to the point.

I'm a second generation Nigerian woman. I'm in my early twenties and I never learned how to cook the traditional food that my Mom makes for our family. Now that I'm on my own I found myself yearning for Naija food and this book has REALLY helped me learn to cook traditional Nigerian food. The receipes aren't perfect, but it's the best African cook book I've been able to find.

Being an American Woman, married to a true African Man, it was/is important for me to be able to prepare him as many African dishes as possible. I really like the simplicity of this cookbook. I had no problems following along with the directions. I'm constantly tweaking the recipes to make them my own. My husband is saying "I'm no longer an American, I’m now an African because I can cook the food".

It's an excellent book for lovers of West African dishes. The author is vastly knowledgeable in West African cooking, Lagos style. Look no further. This is my second copy of the book.

I found out that I can trace my ancestors to West Africa so I was looking for a cookbook to learn how to cook West Africa meals. I it has easy to learn recipes and excellent food!

I thought i brought new book but, I quickly noticed it was used.

A very easy book to understand, well presented.Although it should specify what part of West Afrika the book is from "Nigeria".I still a very good book and would recommend if interested in West Afrikan cooking
