The mechanism of the riser recliner works very well. The remote control is a little confusing as markings aren't clear to me , although this may be me if course. The seat is comfortable according to my poor old Mother who spends many hours a day in it. The material is ok but not as leathery as I thought it would be. Ie it is very thin and feels like a plastic material. This , again, may be my perception and / or the fact that my other leather furniture seems thicker. Overall very pleased and the chair fulfils the role it was purchased for.

I bought this for my father as he suffers from swollen ankles . It has the benefit of a dual motor, which means footrest and backrest work independently. He is very happy indeed with this chair. And his ankle swelling is now very much reduced , due to the good height reached by the foot rest. It seems sturdy , and comfortable. Would I recommend ? Yes I would .

I bought this chair for my mother who had problems with her legs, and needed to get them up. This chair was delivered quickly, and all I had to do was to fit the back on to the base, which would have been easier if I had some help, but I managed on my own. My mother now loves the chair, and her legs are improving, so well worth the money, as far as I am concerned

My Wife ordered this amazing armchair for me. I have quite bad mobility problems as I am waiting for hip replacements. The new rise and recline chair is able to lift me to a standing position faster than my old chair and is far more comfortable so, I can relax and watch TV without fidgeting about to relieve the pain. Unfortunately my chair received some damage in transit and we are waiting for a response from the vendor,

Chair rubbing inside on leather and metal runners, not operateing correctly when you drop off the New chair pick up the damaged chair to return to you.

We never kept the chair it was not suitable for my wife’s complicated needs but the company was so helpful as they accepted my return and were very helpful with the process also Amazon refunded fast

Chair position is a bit too high for a small elderly lady. Also makes an annoying clunk when leg rest is lowered.
