Question 3

Can this be used for making jelly or jam?

Accepted Answer

Hi AK - Yes! Gelatin can definitely be used to thicken jelly and jams! You can use 2 tablespoons of gelatin for every quart of berries. You would add the gelatin mixture (gelatin dissolved in warm water) to your berry mixture after the berries are boiled and before you stir in the sugar for the mixture to set. Let us know if you have any more questions and head over to our furtherfood website for more recipe ideas! - The Further Food Team
