4 for the dice, big 5 for customer service.
So let me get this out of the way first: I was NOT compensated with a discount in exchange for a review. I must have missed that train somehow.I had previously ordered the Wizdice Bag of Holding with 140 dice in complete sets. I was very dissatisfied with that product as I would venture to say 10-15% of the dice had issues with paint, holes, pitting, scratches, nicks, and missing dice. I ended up just sending it back.So on the lookout for a good bulk set, I ordered this with the thought "it can't be much worse." It definitely wasn't... it was much, much, much better. When the bag arrived it was easy to ensure all the dice were there, as they all came bagged individually. I spent a good half hour looking over every single one of the 126 for issues. I found 5. Only 3 were severe enough that I wanted the dice replaced. I had a d6 where a bit of the paint was missing from the 2 and a d8 where there was a bit of blue in the paint in one of the numbers. I kept those, no big. The ones I needed replaced where the orange d20 that had a pitted out 18, and a brown d20 and blue d12 that were uninked in the markers on the 6 and 9.I thought to myself, "this is where I'm going to run into trouble, trying to get replacements from a drop-shipper." Well, that couldn't have been further from the truth. I sent off an email to the customer service address listed on the card. Less than an hour later I got an email back (near 5 pm on a Friday as well) saying that they were sorry a few dice weren't good and they'd send new ones, and then an email 20 minutes after that with a tracking number. The replacements showed up on Monday and they were perfect. So the dice are what they are, a cheaper quality dice (compared to say Chessex) but also much less expensive and a good way to build up a collection. However the quality was better than expected compared to similar dice from another source, and service was great!

Great, high quality dice, but came incomplete *UPDATE*
*UPDATE* The seller contacted me through email and was kind enough to send the missing set, along with two other purple sets. Thank you for that! I've updated my rating to reflect my level of satisfaction with the product, as well as the customer service. I'll most likely buy from them again.--Original review--Bought these dice because my boyfriend has them, and I got to use them on a D&D night. They're nice, and I like that it's sets of a variety of dice to help me prototype games. I'm only used to D6s, so this will help broaden my horizons. I love the variety of colors as well. I'd like to eventually get enough dice to start decorating with them. But I digress.Unfortunately, mine wasn't as advertised--I only got 17 sets, not 18. I seem to be missing one of the purple sets, which sucks because purple is my second-favorite color after green. Two stars because I was really anticipating these dice after experiencing them first-hand, and I feel like I got a slap in the face.I will update my review once the sting of being denied a pair goes away, along with my pettiness and frustration.Any levelheaded reader will read between the lines and realize these are actually really great dice. Very high quality. Just beware that you might also get an incomplete set. That's never a good feeling.

Good quality dice at a fantastic price
I received my 126 dice and immediately sorted through them. There were 4 dice with minor paint issues (missing the 6/9 dot or part of a number). No big deal, I was just going to fill them in with permanent marker. A couple of days later, I get an email from skullsplitter asking if I am satisfied with my purchase. I replied that I was very satisified, then casually mentioned that 3 or 4 dice had very minor paint issues on the numbers. I got an immediate reply from skullsplitter asking me which dice had issues, and I sent them photos. A few days later, I received replacements in the mail, at no cost to me. No muss, no fuss, heck I wasn't even going to ask for replacements, as the issue was very minor for dice at this price point. The quality of the dice is very good. No visible defects in the dice material at all. An outstanding value, and I will definitely be looking at skullsplitter for any dice I might need in the future.

Perfect RPG dice for sharing ...
I've been testing out different 18-set packs of RPG dice this winter-spring and this bunch from Skull Splitter was a solid win as what I like to call SHARING DICE. There were ZERO defects out of 126 dice, which is a big plus for this assortment, and the fun logo on the bag is very eye catching. I can't say the colors or effects of these sets are my all time favorites, but they are fun and do have eye appeal. The bag is slightly oversized so there's room for all 18 sets in their individual inner zip lock mini-bags, and the inner bags and room for them in the pouch are also pluses to me. But the fact that the colors and effects were a bit on the tame side originally was a little disappointing to me. But then ... I realized something. As dice to SHARE, I think these sets are perfect, as they are defect free and fun while not so preciously gorgeous that I'm going to keep them all to myself. MOST times, the folks I play D&D with will not ALL remember to bring dice with them. Someone forgets. I totally don't mind loaning out dice, but I do sometimes experiences losses as people tend not to be as careful with the dice of others as they are with their own. So, if like me, you buy some dice for your collection and some to share, these would be ideal "to share" dice with no regrets whatsoever. I'd give them 5 stars if the colors and effects were a bit more intense, but ... they they'd be collecting dice not sharing dice. ;)
