Super high quality and amazing support!!!
UPDATE - July 29th, 2020: BrightEyes Customer Support is incredible! Not only are their products incredibly well designed and manufactured for the price, but their support staff are of the highest caliber. I contacted BrightEyes Customer Support on their website form on July 21st, 2020. I recieved a prompt email reply from Donald R. I explained to him that the charging unit I recieved with my STAMINA 1800 was not functioning properly, and that the indicator light was steadily flashing green. We both agreed that the charger could be a fire hazard and may have possibly caused the battery pack to not function safely, even though the battery pack seemed to be functioning normally. I was honestly just expecting to replace the charging unit. However, we could not be 100% certain that the charger has caused a malfunction within the internal battery circuitry. So to be safe and cautious, Donald R. immediately offered to ship me a brand new charging unit and a brand new battery pack for the sake of safety. I gave him my serial number and order information and my address, then he told me that he would be shipping me the new items as soon as possible. I recieved the new charging unit and new battery pack in the mail via USPS today, July 29th, 2020. It it was shipped on July 24th, 2020. Upon plugging everything in and connecting both devices, it is now functioning safely and properly. Most companies will ask you to return the entire product in the original retail package for a replacement. I has requested to just replace the charging unit so that it would save time, cost and postage. Donald R. said not to worry. He saved me the trouble of packing everything to send back and resolved the issue by simply shipping me a new charger and a new battery. NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL GREAT SERVICE! I am now a life long customer and supporter of BrightEyes products and I will continue to order from them and recommend them to all of my friends and family members for as long as they remain in business. The STAMINA 1800 Lumens Bike Light kit is very well built, extremely durable and projects a powerful and well balanced light for bicycle enthusiasts who are looking for safety and visibility in poor weather and night time excursions. The mounting hardware options that are included should please customers with a variety of different bar dimensions and helmet designs. This really is one of the nicest, most intense and versatile bicycle lighting products you can purchase. Plus the quality of the product and customer service support that you will get for the price is probably the best in the industry. So don't hesitate to buy from BrightEyes. All of the 5 star reviews are legit. This company is doing it right, because they care about their products and their customers and they back it up with real quality service instead of false claims and cheap components. Buy this product and you will be satisfied that you did. I am proof. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Excellent headlight. This thing is crazy bright. I love it. My only issue is with the battery pack. The package was already opened when I received it and the charging unit has an indicator light on it which seems to be malfunctioning. The light stays on a steady blinking green. No red light. I will have to contact the seller or manufacturer to get a replacement. The quality of the components and accessories are excellent for the price. Hopefully the customer support is just as good. I will update later.

Best product!
I have always been impressed with Bright Eyes products. This is my 5th light and MY GOODNESS they have crushed it! Very durable and brightness is not affected. For the size of the light is also amazing. Could easily put it into a head lamp and make it portable for any outdoor activity. Beautiful appearance and battery last as advertised

Bright - questionable quality - overall decent for the cost
I road ride a bit more than the average cyclist and needed an above average light. I want something that can light up Michigan's pot-hole roads at night far enough out they can be dodged at 20-25 mph. It also needs to last a long time at that brightness because it gets dark before 5 PM here in the winter. After about 500 miles and a few issues - this light does the trick. It has three brightness setting and two flash modes. It throws a spot/flood beam combo so no problem with peripheral view on a road bike. My longest test of a full battery was an hour on low mode and two hours on high mode and it did great even during freezing temps. I actually had a couple cars flash their high beams at me to turn the light down which poses a problem. You can hit the button to get out of high mode but then it goes to the first flash mode which I'll assume is worse for the driver. Or you can hold the button down to turn it off or cover it with your hand but then YOU can't see at all which I think is worse. A better design would have put the brightest mode first so you can hit the button to turn it down then toggle through the modes after the car has passed to get back to the brightest mode. Now for some of the other problems I've had. After opening the well packaged device I was surprised how many extra things are included with the light. Take a look at all those accessories! Overkill IMO and I wish they would have put the cost of those into designing a better base product. For example I don't need the headstrap, the GoPro handlebar mount, the tightening tool or another taillight. I'd pay extra for those if I wanted them. So how could the product be better? I started off using that included GoPro bar mount but as I was tightening the screw the mount broke apart. I wasn't muscling it, I'm a mechanic and mechanical engineer by trade and I know how to tighten a screw. The mount is made from a glass filled plastic and it's very thin on one side. It pulled apart and easily cracked. Luckily my other flasher light mounts via a GoPro mount under the cycle computer which is pretty common now-a-days and I was able to use that BUT it hangs this light upside down. Undesirable for several reasons. First you can't see the battery indicator so there is no visual status on a long ride, you might be limited on how far you can tilt the light down because it's big and will contact the frame or bars and lastly I don't think the "waterproofing" was designed for upside-down. It started to rain on one ride and the light did fine. But the next time I went to use it I could only access the lowest beam - no other modes. I emailed BrightEyes using the given address on their website and was shocked at the speed and courtesy of the customer service. A reply within an hour (after business hours EST) and a replacement head unit was shipped that day. I have had no issues with the new head unit but I now mount it on top the bars which poses it's own problem. Since the extended GoPro arm mount broke I have to use the stubby mount with the rubber bands. I have flat bars so it needs to mount close to the stem where they are round. It's so bright the beam reflects off the cycle computer and it's like someone shining a small light back in your eyes. Back to upside-down mount and hope it doesn't rain. Lastly the battery has come loose inside it's mounting box. I mounted it to the top tube with a small towel wrapped around the frame to prevent scratches. If you shake the battery case you can hear it loose and rattling in there so not sure if that is stressing the wires - might not last long that way. So why 5 stars overall? I think I got what I paid for. $90 isn't really that much for a light this bright that lasts this long AND the customer service should get a 6 out of 5 stars.

Good light. Bright.
Ok, so this light set up has some pros and cons. The good : 1st off there customer service is GREAT through their website (I'll get to that later). The light is bright, I was out for 4 1/2 hrs in the dark and all I needed was the low setting. I may use medium or high going fast down hill, like 40+ mph. I got into the mid 30s mph and low was fine. I used the rubber strap handle bar attachment instead of the go pro style mount. It's very secure and does not move. From light to battery pack there is plenty of length. It even comes with an extension to mount the battery pack ANYWHERE. And comes with velcro straps to secure the cabling. The light is big, the largest light I've ever bought. It's not too big. But anything bigger would be. The light/battery connection seems tight and waterproof. I have not been in rain with it yet. My issue with this light is the battery pack. The battery cells are not that secure within the waterproof case. There is play. Going over roots, rocks, bumps, and off of curbs, the battery pack makes a loud knocking noise. Which is the battery cells knocking off of its housing. Which makes my 3500$ bike sound like junk. Rather embarrassing. I contacted Bright Eyes through their website and they sent me a new battery pack. It did the same thing. So then they sent me the next size down battery pack, the one for the Helios light, which does not have a hard case and DOES NOT KNOCK. So I'm using the smaller quiet battery pack. Light on low, 4 1/2 hours in the dark, and it's charge indicator did not move, it was still full. The smaller battery is 6400 instead of the clunky 10400 pack that comes with the Stamina. Customer service did good and sent me two replacement battery packs. They sent me the smaller pack cuz the said all of the bigger packs have movement within the housing. Reading reviews, I'm the only one who complained about this, which is suprising. If you ride on smooth trails or well paved roads you will barely encounter the knocking. Mountain biking through rock gardens would be very loud. I mainly ride my gravel bike these days. Occasionally doing single-tracks on the mtn bike. I do go out for Meteor Shower rides in the dark for 6 to 9 hours on country road loops. I'm 50 years old and is not my first experience with external battery bike lights. I've been mtn biking since I'm 20. My 1st two Mtn bikes had a solid forks. This light works well so far. The original battery pack is now my back up that lives in my camelbak. The smaller noiseless pack is my go to.

Great illumination...its not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
This light is replacing a '9500' lumen Made in China one, which was under $30, and quite unimpressive with marginal lighting ability and poor mounting. Everything about this lamp exhudes quality. But its raison d'etre is can it light the path well enough. And it most certainly does. I use this in conjunction with a similar style light I bought 10+ years ago, which has I think around 1200 lumens. So between these two I have around 3000 'real' lumens which is about as bright and well illuminated as a car headlight. The path in front of me is well lit for maybe 15 meters-and it could be even more if I tilted the lamps up a bit. The oversize battery is a plus....even on full power I can manage a 2 hour ride with no loss of intensity. I think the battery is good for 4+hrs, but I am not! It DOES take a fairly long while to recharge after being used at full power for a couple hours.....I estimate around 4-6 hours to restore a full charge. Which is fine, because after a hard ride, you are not likely to set off again a couple hours later. I am very pleased with the purchase. Even though you can get higher specced lights for 1/2, or even 1/3 of the price, this greatly outperforms them.

Super bright, nice wide throw, numerous installation options, huge battery
I like to exercise in the morning before work and certain times of year it's just pitch black out there in the morning. This light is more than bright enough for cycling in the dark. Even the medium brightness setting is good enough. I would probably get high-beamed by cars if I used the high setting all the time in the dark. I found it amusing how this light picks up lots of cats' eyes hiding in shrubs and whatnot. Never seen that with my previous headlight (Revtronic BT40S). What really impresses me with this light though is the wide throw. It really lights up your entire field of vision. Included in the box are several options for installation. Among others, there are mounts that clamp the light to the bar, or you can use rubber bands. I use the rubber bands because that's what I was using with my previous light. The bands are really tight and keep the light from moving at all. It's definitely not going anywhere unless you wreck. It's also quicker and easier to take the light off the bar if you need to do that for whatever reason. I can't really comment on the battery's longevity, but I was impressed by the 10,400mAh battery capacity relative to the physical size of the battery pack. My previous light only had a 4,400mAh battery and it was nearly as big. This is a 1800 lumen vs 1600 lumen comparison, but it still translates into longer battery life for the Bright Eyes. I also really like the way this battery pack has a grippy texture where it interfaces with your bike frame. Really helps keep the pack from slipping. My previous light's battery pack I had to really crank down the velcro straps to stop it from slipping down the frame when I hit bumps. As a result, one of the straps is counting its days. Seems like with the Bright Eyes you just need to snug it. The light itself looks really nice. It also has a nice rubberized feel to it. The button is easy to activate. I don't need the strobe options, so I'd rather it just had 5 levels of brightness instead of low, medium, high, strobe, fast strobe. Oh well. That's basically my only critique for this light. Overall, it's perfect for my early morning rides.

JUST BUY THIS if you often ride at night
I've never had to return a product that I liked so much. Easily worth six or seven stars. Bicycle headlights can be used to help you see, or to be seen. This is the light to get if you need to see in the dark. Everything about this set screams quality and value. The lamp on the handlebar is made from die cast metal, not plastic. It's covered by an attractive nylon skin. The lamp has several green LEDs so you can keep track of remaining charge in 25% increments. The battery is large and hefty. It's rated for 8.8V and 10,400 mAh. Replacement batteries are readily available and are reasonably priced. The box contains an extremely generous assortment of accessories, including an extension cable for the battery and GoPro mounts for both the handlebar and your helmet. However, a diffuser disk is not included with the Stamina, so bundle the Stamina with the diffuser accessory pack for the 5% bundle discount. The outstanding feature of the Stamina is that Bright Eyes really means it when they specify 1,800 lumens with a runtime of up to four hours. Not so with their competitors. Small, lightweight all-in-one products like the Cygolite Ranger Endurance 1800 and the OLight RN 2000 can produce similar peak brightness, but they don't tell you that they depend on controlled tapering to get their runtime. Peak brightness is only available for the first 15 or 30 minutes, after which the electronics progressively dim the light to provide the specified runtimes. This "feature" is not defeatable. However, the Stamina fails when it's used as a daylight flasher. The flash rates are much too rapid. The Stamina doesn't have any irregular flash patterns to attract attention while conserving power. The result is that an all day ride requires at least two (and possibly three) 10,400 mAh batteries just to keep the flasher going. That's why I had to return it. I do ride in the dark occasionally, but 99% of my riding is during the day. There are better choices for me. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy both the Stamina and some other flasher if I spent a significant amount of time riding in the dark. The Stamina is that good.

Nice light -- BUT -- Quality Control Issues
What I like about the product - The light has 3 brightness settings and it's very bright on all settings. The highest setting is extremely bright at 1800 lumens. Advice: Don't blind drivers. Aim the beam appropriately. The mounting gear will work for most applications. The Go-Pro mount, along with the headband is a plus. Plenty of wire to mount the battery in the desired location. Also, lifetime replacement support for the lamp and one year on the battery. That's not too bad. What I didn't like - Quality Control issues. The first one I got was USED and missing components, like the thumb screw for the Go-Pro mount. Requested and RMA and RECEIVED ANOTHER USED one with a bad battery. The battery from the first unit seemed fine, so the two units were married into one working unit. The rest was returned. Not a fan of buying new gear and receiving used, opened boxed items. This may be more on Amazon and not Bright Eyes.
