Instant Tteokbokki
I’ve heard of this product but with being in rural Ohio, I have no chance of trying it fresh. I found this and decided to give it a try and was a little surprised. I ordered the sweet and spicy. It comes with two packages and there are English instructions on the packaging. It was easy and quick to make. If the rice cakes are too chewy for your taste just cook a little longer. I don’t eat much spice and found these too be spicy. My son who loves spicy foods thought these were more sweet than spicy. We definitely enjoyed trying them! The sweet and spicy version is vegetarian, if that applies, whereas the cheese version is not. The cheese version was much spicier, too much for me but perfect for my son.

Fool proof for beginners to Korean dishes!
This is good for beginners trying Korean food —including those curious about the Mukbangs they watch.Easy to cook. The flavor of the sauce is like a slightly spicy sweet & sour with tomato added. It may be too sweet if you’re not familiar with these flavors and equate it with ramen or Chinese takeout. The rice cakes are of course chewy but toothsome.Super easy to make a dinner for two out of the package! I added some gochujang & soy for a little more spice and to take away the sweetness. Add tofu, dumplings/gyoza, fish cake, egg, cheese, sliced pork, sausage, ramen noodles, sliced onion, cabbage, etc to bulk up the dish.Have fun & try something new!

Tasty rice cakes, but very mild heat.
These a pretty decent, but the heat is very mild. I spiced it up a little, and added shredded chicken breast, small broccoli florets and chopped scallions. I will order again, because the rice cakes are very good quality.

Yummy!
Exactly as described and super tasty. I like to add lots of mozzarella and fresh cucumbers for a bit of crunch!

Sauce Tastes Like Ketchup
The sauce tasted like ketchup. I checked the ingredients and sure enough it contains ketchup. I would rate the heat as between medium and hot. I've tried a few different types of Tepokki and this one was not among my favorites. Probably would not buy again.

Easy snack, good flavor
Easy to cook and great taste. I wish the instructions came with a time for cooking, but I did high heat until boiling, then medium low for about 5-7min and it came out great. The spice has a slow onset but it fades after a while. It's not super sweet and it's got a tang to it.

Love it
Really really good. I like ttoekbokki and this was so good. There are other flavors I've gotten and I'm looking forward to trying them. They are not too spicy. The right amount of chew. Just delicious
