Wolo (BA-80) Talking Back-Up Alarm - Spanish

I have a utility golf cart I use around my farm for everything to fixing fence to hauling things (has a dump bed) to transportation. The cart came with a buzzer when you select reverse ... and ear peircing tooth grinding buzzer, the first day I had the cart I promtely disconnected it, My Mom was here visiting and she was helping me clean up an area on the farm, she loves to drive the cart we had dumped a load of trash and some got stuck in the dump bed I asked her to pull forward so I could dislodge it I was standing behind on the trash pile, luckily I thought right after I said that, she is probabably still in reverse and does not realize it so I jumped to the side just in time to watch her "gun" it and back up on to the pile right where I was standing a half second ago! That night we went to Amazon looking for a new back up alarm and found this one, its fantastic, its funny to hear and it does the job. I always think of Mom now when it goes on, how she nearly killed me because the back up alarm was disconnected. It was very easy to hook up (two wires) I was able to use the existing wires to the other alarm,just bolted it on and hooked up the wires and it worked perfectly. Comes with a strong bracket and a nut and bolt for mounting. I am buying another one for my friend who is an avid golfer for his cart.

I haven't had so much fun in a long time, and actually kept people safe in the process. This product works well, but is loud. When I mounted it right under the bumper facing back, I startled a poor man over 40 feet away, who jumped in a big way when I put the truck into reverse. The next weekend I took it off the bumper and then tucked it under the truck box near where the spare is stored. I angled it down towards the road surface and bounced it up and out behind the truck. I also went so far as to put some electrical tape over half of the speaker, and that brought everything into line. I recommend this product if you find yourself going in and out of parking lots where there are lots of people about, or if you live or work near where children or elders can be found. I placed a on off switch connected to the backup lights circuit, so that I can turn it off once notice has been accomplished, I did this because the product says the following long phrase in a child like voice crossed with a young woman's voice: "Attention Please. This Car is Backing up." The first time I heard it, I thought that it would be a voice that children would quickly tune to. Now, if this incessantly repeats it gets a bit annoying and less effective. I find ONCE or Maybe TWICE, is lots. As I said, it is a really loud sounding back up speaker horn, and there are times you want to be able to turn it off. For me one of those times is when I back into my apartment stall late at night. With the on off switch I can do so without the speaker horn going off. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a vehicle that does not have a back up camera, lives near children or elders, or has animals that sleep under or around their vehicle, or simply cannot see back behind them when backing up. It is also good to scare the pants off nearby teenagers and undergraduates. Seriously, it is worth the protection and amusement that it adds to your car of truck.

This backup alarm is awesome. I get so many labs when going in reverse people are always asking where is that coming from. It is hilarious and a good safety measure when backing up as well. I love it.

After reading two comments, I taught i will get this item I always wanted after hearing a uncle of mine who had one years ago. Its okay but I don't find it LOUD ENOUGH. Maybe if the place is dead quiet but in a busy street or main road, someone has to be real close to hear it. If the place is very quiet like a residential neighborhood, neighbors outside would certainly here it. I'll rate this a 7 out of 10.

This alarm is really good! It was easy to install on my Jeep using the two wires. Simply splice it into the 2 existing back-up light bulb wires and run the wires under the car where you wish to bolt on the alarm head. Simple 1/2 hour installation! One caveat is that you need to add some length of wire onto the existing ones as they are not too long. The alarm is loud even with the car engine running and is clearly heard many feet behind the vehicle. Great safety device!!

This item is very cheap, weight is about 2-3 oz 100% all plastic Mine has stuff rattling around inside already, The 12" wires are maybe 24 AWG or smaller The voice sounds like a 6th grader Hard to imagine that it will last more then a few times. Great present for a kids toy car :-)) The alarm says this car is backing up, description says this vehicle is backing up. It would be more useful if it says "BACK UP YOUR TO CLOSE"

The product info says drilling might be required. In my case, not drilling at all. Since the wires are relatively short, I decided to install this WOLO talking alarm and wired it on the reverse light of my Nissan Pathfinder. It's behind the lift gate where the reverse lights are. Wire length issue was solved. I just had to use one of the holes inside the lift gate where the wires are located and tighten the knots and bolts. Now, the alarm is loud and clear. Plus it doesn't have to get wet or exposed to water, had I installed it behind my rear bumper. Now I always smile when I back up my SUV because people get alerted, some are jumpy when they hear my alarm, but many say.."That's cool man!"...So happy with the product!

This talking back up alarm is VERY LOUD. Kids find it to be very amusing & also some adults. I've received a lot of compliments pertaining to it and people always want to know where I got it. It's small in size & very easy to install. It has been installed on my car a few months shy of 2 years. I have driven through water a few feet high numerous times & never had a problem. There are times when you will want to be able to turn it off, so I'll be installing a switch to turn it off whenever I wish. Overall, this is an awesome safety device. I highly recommend it!!!

Works well and simple to fit. Even from inside the boot, it is audible. Outside would be much louder but it will easily rot unless protected. Pity she does not say 'reversing' instead of that americanised 'backing up'!

Bought for my truck but it’s too quite to be on a commercial vehicle. Will purchase another for my car.

Works the way it should. So far so good. No issues. Good product.

Easy to install. It is actually quite loud when standing around the back of the vehicle.
