Love it! Just the right amount of heat, it doesn't overpower the flavor

I regret ordering this only because it’s so good I can’t stop eating it, and I’m putting it on everything. For example, I’m eating an apple as I write this and squirting some of this delicious habanero hot sauce on it before each bite. Heat wise, I’d say this is more on the low end of medium heat. I do admit I love fiery hot so your heat level tolerance may vary. For those that like really hot habanero sauce you will probably agree with me that it’s on the low end of medium heat – meaning just slightly above mild. But the flavor of this hot sauce is so outrageously delicious I’m not minding the low-level heat at all.

I had never heard of Secret Aardvark until two days ago. I needed a new bottle of Frank's for wing sauce and saw that this stuff had really good reviews so I decided to pick up a bottle. I'm pretty picky about food. This is good! The habaneros definitely have some heat but it's got a really good flavor to it. Quite balanced. Definitely will be using this sauce on a lot of things.

Delicious stuff! Basically a spicy BBQ sauce boiled down to a thicker and more concentrated reduction. Has the standard level of habanero sauce heat. Good for specific things that will taste good with a reduction of habanero BBQ sauce on it. That's not meant to sound negative. It is the flavor profile of the sauce. Not a universal hot sauce, but great for specific things. Toss some wings in butter and this stuff, and you'll have amazing and very spicy BBQ wings.

I have maybe medium hot tolerances so a few drops of this is enough but my God it is delicious. It’s not just heat. There’s a wonderful fruity flavor to it. The heat is just a secondary thing - utterly delicious. This bottle will last for years at least for me. A few drops into my meal and I’m set.

Secret AArdvark is not the cheapest hot sauce out there by any stretch. These days you can't blame people for not forkin out cash for something that might just sit in their fridge till next summer. Maybe I can impart a few things to help you make a decision. First off, Secret Aardvark has a reputation for fresh natural ingredients. Thats one plus. Secondly, a lot of people out there like heat. They crave it. But here's the thing..... most people don't care to just scorch their tongues and sear their lips. They want FLAVOR. And not so much heat that they fear their next toilet trip. This has flavor. Good Habanero flavor and it's not going to set off the smoke detector in your brain. Thirdly, in my humble opinion the flavor of Secret Aardvark is a complimenting flavor. It does not overpower whatever you're using it on. I really like that. It brings out and enhances the flavors in whatever dish your using it on. I especially like it on tacos and I use a couple tablespoons in my chili recipes.

I can't get enough of this hot sauce. It's the perfect amount of heat and makes everything/anything you put it on taste 100x better. It is kinda liquidy and its really easy to burn through a bottle, but I guess that's just the way it is. I keep coming back for more.
