So, there is a lot of calcium in the water. I had the water softener tested and fixed, and the "water person" says that the GH is 0 (1 drop.) Well, that being said, I still get calcium buildup on the tanks. The hose and the suction cups like to attract calcium from the water, which builds up on the surfaces of them. Over the last 4 weeks, it seems like it is attracting less and less calcium over time, but it's something to keep in mind if you live in an area with hard water.
