As soon as my mat starts to get damp I roll it out and carry on. It really is non-slip, the damper it is the more grippy it becomes. I normally have to use chalk as my hands are always sliding, but not with this towel.Only reason for the 4 stars is my mat is about an inch wider than the towel so can only use the pockets to hold it on one side - will have to sew something onto the other side as its really useful to have it secured.
