I build a proof of concept box with a moving lid but used a cheaper amazon-found actuator. It was much slower and much louder than this. After I was happy with the design and convinced myself it would work well for what I intended, I upgraded to this actuator. Love it. It's much faster and quieter than what I had before and overall, it works great for my use. I can't say if it'll satisfy your wishes but the specs are fairly spot on. I will just say it works well for what it claims to do. Go for it if the specs fit your needs.

This was a plug and play replacement for the 4" Sea Ray actuator used for the front window vent of my 340 Sundancer. Works great! Craftsmanship looks great. I still give it 5 stars but I wish the electric wires coming from the unit were placed differently. This is really only for my use case. The OEM part had the wires coming from the front face of the motor where this model has it coming out from the top of the motor. So I just had to bend it a bit and it rubs a little with the Sea Ray cover. Not a fault of this manufacturer as I'm sure other use cases would find it great where it currently is. This company has an excellent reputation in the marine industry for this use and the product lives up to the reputation.

Product works perfectly, only giving it four stars because while I purchased this as a new item it came with multiple scuff marks and scratches. I inspected the item while it was still in its plastic wrapping only to find the product looked used. Against my better judgement I opened the wrapping and tested the product, luckily this seems to be a cosmetic issue only and the performance of the actuator was not hindered in any way. Love Progressive Automations products, but I did pay for a new product and this appeared used.

Replaced an old pair on my RV. Exact part number replacement. Installed in minutes and works flawlessly. Lots of power out of such a small unit. Make sure you are ordering the correct throw length and load required.

In an attempt to resolve my problem I actually went through three different makers on Amazon and ended up using Progressive. On my yacht the two front windows had manual push type metal pipe slides with twist knob locks. So I had to physically push the locking knob forward to open the window and then while holding it there twist or screw the knob in to hold it with friction. I measured the weight of the window as I opened it with a portable luggage scale that had a strap. When opening it, it weighed 18 lbs. So I got the 35 lbs 12 in stroke. I really liked how Progressive lists their item with pounds and inches. The other sites got confusing with mm, cm, newtons, etc.. These are quiet and fast enough to complete the task. They are good looking also. I surface mounted the switches. Switches that came with another set of linear actuators that I was unable to return.

Perfect replacement for 380 Sea Ray center vent actuator. Quick and smooth operation

I purchased this actuator to replace another that I had for 20 years. This one corroded in a few months and quite working at 7 months. This product is sold by amazon. Customer service could not help with this issue because it is over 30 days. They suggested to look at warranty on this product in the Progressive Automationns amazon store. No warranty info is listed. But it does say, if you need help with any of the store items, they suggest you call amazon. What a vicious circle.

I was hoping to get more than 2 seasons out of it. I purchased this in November of 2022 and it was used to control the up/down of the chute on my snowblower. The spot where the wires go into the motor is very poorly designed and within 1 season, the rubber had already broken and exposed the wires. I was able to limp it along but it finally gave out. Bummer things just don't last as long as they really should.

This product was perfect for what I needed. The only thing is the ram is a little lose when close to fully or fully extended but that said it still works very well

I bought this for a housing for a TV. It's perfect for lifting the monitor out of the cabinet.
