The texture is thick so needs a bit of chewing which not very easy when you are running, found it more easy to slow down a bit (but maybe this is not an issue with super experience runners). Taste wise was good, not very sweet, no stomach issues which was ideal for the half marathon race. Is quite expensive if someone intends to use it for marathon training and marathon race but worth the money.

I purchased these for half marathon training as these were recommended to me by a fellow runner. I wanted tasteless and these were perfect. I was concerned about having a dodgy tummy but I didn't notice that but I certainly felt the energy kick around mile 8 and have purchased again. Would recommended.

Tried every major brand on the market. Always had issues on longer day-length rides with guts/pain/discomfort and it's been a ride-stopper on numerous occasions, sometimes really painful.Tried these, difference was immediate, noticeable and an absolute relief. They kept me going, gave me zero discomfort, made what used to be a real problem and a source of nervousness into barely a consideration. In one word: revitalising.I dislike the price in abstract terms, but in terms of value for money, my enjoyment and comfort during long rides is worth a few extra quid and I can't see myself using any other type of gels now. Had a problem, these solved it. May not work for everyone but for me it's a huge relief

I run marathons and cycle long distances and I will only use Maurtens. Granted they are a bit more expensive than other brands, but they go down well and tastes nice. Cheaper brands are cheap for a reason.

Of all of the energy gels on the market, these are in my opinion the ultimate. Most importantly, they have a very neutral taste that makes them very easy to ingest and digest without bloating or worst case cramping. Not cheap, but quality and results speak for themselves.

Expensive, but worth it for marathon racing. Like a flavourless hard jelly, but goes down easy. No upset stomach or after effects. Definitely a lot better energy release than others i have tried.

I read all the previous reviews and did lots of research, yes these are on the sweet side but its not sickly unlike the manuka honey ones i had one time the Gel is a very good viscosity glides down easy on the run. I am a serious suffer of sensitive tummy. No Sick, No Heartburn, Nothing come back up, No pains I couldn't believe it.. I was sceptical as so many others were not right for me but I can genuinely say these are very good, I run about 40-50km a week I took 2 for half marathon distance Monday was good, Took 1 before a 13km run today felt really good more energized. So 5 stars from me and will be back to buy more.

A parte il prezzo che è risaputo che sia altissimo, non ci sono difetti. Rispetto ai concorrenti parliamo un gel super digeribile e dall'effetto immediato, da usare tendenzialmente in gara.Mi ci trovo benissimo.

This is by far the easiest gel to take down for me taste and texture wise. Doesn’t affect my stomach at all. I have used these for several marathons and long runs. I’ve tried dozens of other gels out there and these are the only that remain constant for me. They’re pricier, but to me they’re totally worth it to buy for races because I know the quality is great and they’ll keep me going the whole race. I’m my opinion, the consistency is a cross between marshmallow and jello and it has a very mild sweet flavor that doesn’t stick in your mouth.

Es un gel sin sabor, con textura más sólida que otros que he probado que permite la ingesta sin necesidad de acompañarlo con agua. No he tenido ningún problema en el estómago con estos geles, aunque creo que eso es muy personal y lo mejor es probarlos antes de una carrera.

Great taste.It really helps with energy and endurance. I use it when cycling.

Mon pack de Maurten Gel100 est arrivé plus tôt que prévu. Donc de ce côté là, parfait.Gel testé lors d'une longue sortie running. Le gel s'ouvre facilement, ne coule pas, ce qui est fort appréciable lorsque l'on court. La texture est agréable, ni trop liquide ni trop épaisse. Le goût est assez neutre. Point important, digeste : mon estomac l'a bien supporté. Achat du pack en vue de mon prochain marathon. Seul bémol, le prix, un peu cher.
