Mastercraft Collection Concorde British Airways scale model Scale: 1/100

I had spent a long time deciding whether or not to buy this desktop model, as the pictures of it aren’t the best and there were significant questions I had about quality. Got it today, and it exceeds my expectations as far as materials and attention to detail. A really beautiful model that is the exact same one that I saw on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle years and years ago.

These Daron models are made in Philipines by skillfull craftsmen, the model is beautiful painted , not very detailed, unfortunately the nose tip comes with a small but visible dent, very difficult for me to send this back to Amazon because I live in Argentina, surely both nose and tail tips must be better packaged.The other problem is the windows, they are a large decal, not tampoprinted, so with time this decals will suffer yellowing if you expose the model in sunlight.Anyway is a beautiful and sleek model.

I miss seeing this aircraft every morning at 9:30am coming in to land. Great piece, it is large.

The sheer size of this model is my favorite thing about it, as it makes for a great showpiece on a large table and allows you to fully appreciate the beautiful lines and aesthetic proportions of the fuselage and the wings. However, I was disappointed by the lack of certain key features, particularly the shark fin antennae on the top and bottom of the fuselage (hey are not there at all) and the lack of many paint scheme details such as rescue hatch marks on the fuselage and 'do not walk' markings on the wings above the landing gear bays. Most disappointing of all was the fact that the two forward canards are not perfectly aligned with one another, so when you look at the model from the front towards the back, you see misaligned canards. Overall, I still love the model because it is the only one I could find of this size, the paint and finish quality is very good (apart from the canard issue) but amount of details could definitely be improved, as they are present in many much smaller models.

Model was a replacement for one that I have had for many years and was recently broken. The quality of the items was very good as were the paint job and the decals.The price was also a pleasant surprise as I expected to pay at least $100.00 more for this quality. Good job !!!

Very pleased with what I received. It has the latest lines of the British Airways Logo. I was a little disappointed with the stand so I went ahead and ordered a plaque that would sit in the space of the triangle with the colours of British Airways with the words '' BRITISH AIRWAYS'' in a half circle and '' CONCORDE '' the bottom line, making a half circle and then below the line ''1969'' the year of its maiden flight.

Saw this model in Paris several years ago and wanted to buy then. Saw it again at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, but they were sold out. Now I have one in my collection. Really nice.......
