This journal fits right in! Very nice thick quality leather with a beautiful embossed tree on it. Initially the larger size appealed to me, but I ended up choosing this one because of how much the tree filled the cover. It seemed a little lost in the bigger size to me.The pages are thick and have authentic looking edges. I love to journal, and doodle. The pages are even nice enough to do water color on. I might occasionally put in a few sheets of cream paper here and there because it would be nice to have a light background on some pages. The leather is soft and smells nice. I really like that the back cover wraps around the pages to protect them. It is wide enough for one to stamp a favorite scripture, baptism date, or quote on it.
