I wouldn't say it comes with everything you need to start raising an infant, but it definitely comes with a lot of useful items. Thermometers, a bottle, wipes, diapers, clothes, and a book, which are things that will be used. Our baby was a bit of a preemie though, so it'll be a few weeks until it can grow into the clothes that came with the box. It is nice that it came with a sheet so the box could be used right away.
