This thing works great. You have multiple ways of carrying it whether you want to carry it like a messenger bag or you want to take the should strap off and wear if as more of a fanny pack since it comes with a strap for your waist as well. It does have a place to put a bottle of water however the bottle can't be very big or it will not fit. Next to the water bottle pouch it has a deep loop that you can use to put your fishing pole into which can make carrying your pole easier as long as it is broken down. Plenty of space for a days worth of tackle and several jars or bait. Even has enough space to fit a small towel and the pair of pliers that it comes with. Speaking of the pliers, I was expecting to get some cheap pair of pliers that I was just going to throw away but they're surprisingly well built and work very well.

Excellent surfishing bag. Plenty of zippered pouches to hold lures, etc. Quality material. Fanny pack design allows you to move along the shoreline without having to keep moving a tackle box.
